Okay so just as a refresher who's playing who?

Okay so Tsunade has a meeting with the other kage, blurts out that she adopted Naruto because of his lack of family and special needs to impress her, she invites them to her home as a way of calling her bluff, and Tsunade gets Naruto to agree and they spend a weekend or something playing the part of mom and baby?

That could work, and maybe instead of saying that his "special needs" are the reason that Tsunade kept quiet she just says that it was the reason she decided to adopt him?

Hm, I guess in that case he would. I mean at the start of shippuden he's only 15

Okay. Maybe in this one we say that Tsunade took over before the genin tournament happened. So while Naruto's not as well known outside the leaf village.

Well again we could have Naruto disguise himself. Another option could be Ino or Kiba, any of the Genin that didn't make the tournament. What would you prefer? Or if we want to stick with Naruto we might just have to tweak the background a bit and go more in the AU route.

Oh okay. I wonder though if maybe we should use a different character then. I mean Naruto's at least kind of famous at this point considering he's the nine-tailed fox carrier and fought in the genin tournament. Maybe we could have it be a lesser known character and/or he could disguise himself.
