Hooray! I liked season 3 quite a bit, other than the fact that the Twilight-Becomes-An-Alicorn thing felt rushed, so I'm sure I'll like season 4.

Perhaps someone high up the food chain in the Equestrian government has been receiving bribes? Or perhaps...

Just a few more unnecessary pauses...

What if the virus has more long-term effects than ponies realized? The loss of control comes first, but overtime (and by overtime I mean it takes decades,) it slowly has accumulative effects which include decreased muscle growth and physical capacity, and there is some evil enemy nation looking to weaken the Equestrian race enough that they can step in and take all the crystal energy and land and magic and whatnot? And so, they need to make ponies consider the virus and its effects to be the norm, so that over time they become weaker and weaker until...

Okay, this is starting to sound crazy, even to me. Maybe a new plan? I'm just making things up as I go along.

Um, I haven't... actually watched it yet. I petered out after marathoned the first three seasons before the fourth came out, remembered that I hate waiting for episodes to come out on a weekly basis, and gave up watching it until the season was over. Then I just forgot to actually go back and watch it.
