Yeah the more I think of it the 'consulting physician' becomes 'inmate' does seem more separate. I like both ideas. Both appeal on different levels to be honest. Hope I'm not boring sounding.

Well I was thinking if I play Beast.. who I love doing... *Blush* it could be some celebrity auction type thing. Since who wouldn't want a exotic blue-furred genius who runs around in effectively his underpants as a superhero. All Hank would know was it was for a good cause a charity and he was highly desired. I can see him show up backstage in a suit and them be all like 'No... here... put these on'. And it's not until he's on stage that he realizes the assumed 'sexy underwear' they gave him are cartoon trainers or something. And then he sees the club crowd. Hah. That's like my general mental picture of the setting. And then away we go.

The Asylum setting was only an alternate possibility for things. Like he's won in the bachelor auction and they want him to work as a consulting physician there to "help the patients". But with plans to test some new methods on subjects and he was a fun test case. It was just two different directions for things. Honestly maybe I'm over complicating as it could instead be two entirely different scenes which probably work better if you enjoy my RP enough down the line when we finally found a conclusion for whichever one we do first.

How many hours would that be?

Idly I ran across one of your ideas that sparked a bit of intrigue... and could even spiral off of the club idea to give us a rich storyline start. It certainly perks my curiosity.

I could see a progression... AB/DL Club Auction. My character utterly bewildered by such things but it's for a good cause/charity etc. which is usually for like a weekend or week.... Person bids an insane amount for an even longer period of commitment. Which tends to either be like arm candy like escort or serving some function like personal aide or what have you.

Some playful socializing and make some fun teasing and such. And then she (or he, I'm easy) takes their 'purchase' home with plans to turn them into their perfect 'little one' through a variety of methods.

Now either they could say that the position they have for the period of service is a consulting physician to try to help these kids at the above place.... then tables are turned on him as he's a patient getting reconditioned. Or he/she takes him home and enacts those plans personally. Could easily mingle it that purchase is one of the staff also. Wanting to try some new methods on someone. I am just spitballing the plot train.

Well I certainly do like the club idea. Hmm... maybe it's a charity auction type of thing. Rather than just wandering in. I can see it being a fun intro to kick off the scene as the person would be totally lost and clueless by what sort of club they're auctioning themselves off for a weekend or something. *Rubs his fuzzy chin*
