Hmm... How would AR defeat "The purpose"? Technically, ABDLs desire mental Age Regression (Pretending to be a baby in their minds and possibly being nurtured as such by a willing partner - The second part depends upon each individual). Age Regressionists or ARDLs desire physical AR and perhaps mental AR as well (Some people would actually prefer to have their adult intelligence intact after physical AR while others would not - It depends upon each individual). Since the technology to support physical AR doesn't currently exist, the best that an ARDL can do is to act like an ABDL. ARDLs and ABDLs are the same in that respect (Of course, there are also differences but let's leave it at that).

Well, I've met many kinds of people in my life either at past jobs or through friends. Some of them were gay guys and even one was a transvestite (He was one of the IT managers at one former job. He carried a purse with him and wore lipstick at work but everything else was "toned down". He was very professional during business hours.
