Dinah and Barbara watched Cass's body rise and fall as she slept. She looked so at peace, wrapped under the covers. Then, Dinah had a thought, sharing it with Barbara once they'd left the bedroom.

"Say, if you're Cass's sort-of mommy, and I was your mama bird, does that make me a... grandma in a way?"

Barbara blinked for a moment, before a teasing grin stretched on her face.
"When you put it like that...?"

Dinah made a show of groaning into her hands.
"Ugh, I'm in my thirties, I cannot be a grandma already..."

Barbara patted Dinah's shoulder.
"Aw, don't worry, granny canary. You're still a badass."

Dinah chuckled, before her face went cold.
"Call me granny canary again, and I'll put you over my knee, Babs."
Barbara giggled sheepishly, reminded of her once-caretaker's sternness.

Or something, I just thought it'd be fun.

Okay. I had two ideas for scenes/concepts:

What if, when Cass tries out having Barbara as her "mommy" she sort of asks Barbara to wear something like what she did as an adult so it's easier for Cass's brain to see her as "mama"

Example:
Rather than use her words, which were difficult to form in this childlike state, Cass reached out with her left hand, patting Barbara's shirt and pants, before pointing to a nearby photo frame, showing the two of them back when Barbara was an adult It took a moment for Barbara to understand.
"You want me to change my clothes?"
I think it could make for an extra layer to the whole thing.

Thinking one could be a diaper that inflates heavily to the size of a boulder, a cry that shocks whoever hears it, an odor that reacts with the diaper when the user messes it, you have any suggestions?

Super, thinking it happens after they leave the base? Which leads them to go back and see what the gas did to them?

Yeah, thinking there’s a science lab that makes different diapers. Like diapers that slid around, make smoke screens, have greater defense, weigh more, even tear away diapers for fighting naked.

Also what do you think of the girls being surrounded by dinosaurs but then Sammy lets out a Trex roar to scare them off?

Thinking they would be babyish but also adult. And since they would be in the middle of the diapered and non diapered students they would be outcasts.

Thinking either the college has both diapered and non diapered students, or other colleges just look down on them.

Yeah, and a swim team, plus a fashion club. Things like that.

Thinking there’s a big sister type being pushed in a baby pram who offers her to join?

Super.

Oh yeah, their could be diapered gangs around the college as well. Super. Thinking she’s a total punk and tries to act grown up, not even fighting with her diaper at first.

Thinking yes, but they would all fall under the umbrella of the two gangs. Looking down on them or being motherly to them.
