I'll just put this here since it needs to be addressed before I can post, but your character removed both of our character's diapers prior to the current events. You're going to have to change something to make that work. : /

You need to dodge and backstab... I guess we found the issue then. ^_^' Try to learn to dodge and backstab more, take some time working that on old enemies until it becomes more natural.

And what of shields? You should be mindful to use a shield in the earlier parts of the game while you're still trying to get the hang of it, as the game rewards knowledge and punishes impatience harshly. : /

Don't worry about getting it ascended just yet, just focus on what you can do for now. One thing you should be sure of is that you're still capable of quick-dodging. If you're wearing heavy armor and your try to dodge, you'll more or less land on your side or shoulder and roll a bit. A quick dodge is where your character can still go airborne, and trust me, you want to be doing that.

There's a knight you can fight that drops a ring made specifically for reducing the weight of your armor so that you can still quick-dodge whilst wearing it. I think he's located at the bottom of a flight of steps just past the Undead Parish (or whatever the first area was called), where you'd go up to fight a demon and down to fight him. Hope that helps a little? *shrugs*

EDIT: In our RP, I could have sworn that your character had removed both of our character's diapers before the scene started. A minor correction may be needed. : /

Cross over Darkroot and kill the Moonlight Butterfly, that's all you should really be doing up there.

As for the Capra Demon, just be sure to kill the dogs at the beginning and learn it's patterns - It only has a few, just be extra mindful of the leap. If you're not upgrading gear at the blacksmith, either switch weapons to something that's worth upgrading or start upgrading something you like - Things change when your weapon is capable. Titanite is fairly easy to get a hold of, and you can buy it by the bushel from the blacksmith if you make a boo boo on a weapon.

You'll likely die, but getting that sword and shield helps a ton. And you don't have to get that armor, I wouldn't recommend fighting the Hydra until way later.

Sorry for being gone for like, a week. Me n' Daddy had a lot going on, and I didn't have time to get on at all.

There's a really good sword and shield being guarded by a sleeping dragon, I can't entirely remember how to get there, but it's really close to the entrance. I'll look up a video and post the link here for you, I'm sure there's a video for it, at least...
