Its a Fun series … I admit how I came across it was via Mlp;fim fan content using Dan in the content and that lead me into checking the series out but the series Dan Vs. is sorta like the Anti-thesis to MLP;FIM do to how the series theme is and such... True its even more formulaic in ways then most cartoons anymore but not as formulaic as some of the older cartoons... As you have in this just afew matching formula specific matters namely Dan gets pissed about something, he goes over the top to get what he sees as justified retribution, in most cases its not and he almost never succeeds… I think the only times he succeeds is the eps he turns out right to be justifiably angery but despite those matters its a show with a lot of wacky and fun episodes with very few other specific beats that it repeats
