I like the whole thing we did where Barbara and Cass are opposite in their initial feelings about being padded. Because while Barbara at first was "Oh, this is so humiliating, I need to wear diapers again, I'm just a big baby now..." Cass, whose life has not been normal enough for her know the full picture of why someone would be ashamed of them, just thinks the padding feels soft and comfy. (Although, to be fair, Cass chose to start while Barbara's was a necessity so she didn't ruin her clothes.)

I don't know. I like the dichotomy.

I was thinking about Cass and Babs and I wrote this:

Exhausted after patrol, the two bats entered the apartment, Barbara pulling off her cowl and slumping in her chair before flashing a smirk at her friend.

“You know, you were kinda stepping on thin ice when you teased me in front of Canary.”

Batgirl shrugged, reaching to the fridge as she scoured through.

“Dinah’s a fan of banter, but she can get super mama bird when I’m involved.”

Pulling out the milk carton, Cass began to pour herself a big glass as Barbara kept talking.

“Frankly, the fact that you could still do all that martial arts stuff with a diaper underneath was pretty impressive. Wasn’t even one of the thin ones either.”

Sighing, Barbara rested her hand on her cheek.

“You don’t even care. Do you? Wearing a diaper underneath your Batsuit and you’re just… pouring yourself a glass of milk.”

Cassandra finally pulled off her mask, exposing an almost playful expression on her face as she picked up her glass.

“Mhm.”

And then, she was gone. Leaving Barbara to sigh in fond exasperation before calling out.

"Don't drink it all at once, you'll get a stomach ache!"

"Okay!"
