Okay well that's all a easy enough work around on the can of worms matter to avoid and prevent too much mixed in the matter given the current state of DMC canon and how the world is atleast when talking about from the games I have played aswell as the extra material we got that's canon, that and also ignoring DMC 4 almost completely outside of afew element that can help with a work around. Which By the way most DMC fans do ignore and deny DMC 4 as being even remotely canon for the most part given how off the rails and stupid it got compared to prior entry's aswell as put in stupid stuff that didn't really make sense in the established DMC universe canon

Though while on the subject of Seras meeting others while Alucard is gone, Heres afew I was wondering how you'd feel about her meeting the following two people

How do you feel about Seras Meeting Juliet Starling of Lollipop Chainsaw? which Juliets family apparently is made up mostly of those fighting the occult in some fashion (but we never get shown what kind for them) and she dealt with killing smart zombies in the game .. Which we could easily excuse away as a offshoot of ghouls or something like that brought on by remnants of Millennium's projects and thus prevent a can of worms easy enough on this situation .. plus we could in that manner make it reasonable for her and Seras to meet given how Juliet's family deals in fighting the occult , Add to that one of Juliet's sisters was recruited by from my recollection of the game some organization that was never named... So we could have said sister have accepted a job with Hellsing after the last advent that happened in Hellsing that took out most of the newest help which resulted in Seras becoming a full fledge Vampire


And how do you feel about Seras meeting Ash Williams from the Evil Dead IP? That has a easy enough work around to prevent any can of worms we would otherwise deal with by just having the Necronomicon locked up away possibly by the Hellsing family when it was found by the Hellsing family/organization as it is stated in the Hellsing canon that the Hellsing family/organization has dealt in the Occult for a long time.. So I could see the Hellsing family/organization locking away dangerous occult and mystic items when found to prevent trouble as a whole

What is the specific can of worms in this case anyway dealing with DMC/Dante in general? I just want to know as I might be able to find a way to work around that by the time we get to point we'd be able to involve the concept if we decide to have it in there , Heck the can of worms might even be a none issue seeing as you said you wasn't too into the IP so depending on what it is, the matter might either be dealt with by now or never truly was a problem

Anyway yeah how do you feel on the DMC matter if we can avoid whatever the can of worms is you want to keep from on the possibility of Seras and Dante meeting ? We could even have Dante be like super protective of Patty Lowell (the kid I mentioned) When he realizes what Seras is and thus leading into some comedy from both them getting chastised by the ones that boss them around .. Seras via Integra and Danta via the human child Patty Lowel which she has magic and alchemy she can use to a degree

We'll cross that bring when we get to it then on the DMC matter for Hellsing as we could easily I think avoid the can of worms if you are talking about Hell matter as in general from all the DMC games I have played(not all of them but a decent enough amount) Hell is often a sealed off part in the games till near the end and the anime based on the games never even really touched most of the varies games elements, so basing on the anime of DMC could very easily avoid varies worms the games would have introduced .. then add onto the matter Dante in it at the end basically lets a child rule his whole business as hes in the anime a sucker for kids...

So I know the other comment hadn't been replied to yet, but , I don't know why yet I have had this thought I need to run by you so it atleast doesn't fester in my head as we could use this if you want but I mainly just need to mention it.. No real desire to use it though it'd be interesting to put in if we do.. The thought is of Seras ending up meeting Dante from Devil May Cry during the time Alucard is gone for a long time .. I don't know why I just have that thought swirling in my head. though we could use this as a way to introduce Seras to more mystical and dark beings aswell as items

Meh the seal matter was a odd thought I needed to say before it festered in my head.. Was less likely to really be interested in using it as I was more so needing to get it from my head.. Though I could see something like her having a design on her padding or some infantile item of hers to remind her of Alucard regularly ..

Maybe even her having a Alucard Plushie made or possibly Integra getting something simple made for Seras that has a Alucard inspired design seeing as Seras will surely be distraught after hes gone

Also have you seen the Netflix Castlevania series? I love the spin they put on Dracula in the start where he is a big science focused type of Vampire.. have yet to get too far into it but it seems when he got too burned by others he heavily invested his at that point undead life to science,

Thus it could be a neat little spin for our Hellsing rp if Seras learns that Alucard at one point was invested into the pursuits of science
