I also love the idea of pointing out the fact that Sakura and Ino threw away their friendship for several years for nothing; Sasuke, if he had stayed in the village, would have been required to take multiple wives.

I also toy with the idea of a clan law that would basically make Ino choose to throw away her clan heiress status and the chance to learn her clans techniques just be with Sasuke or not.

BTW, you keeping up with the series? I know there's a great Zetsu war or something going on now.

Oh, and there's one other twist for Amara as well; she was sexually assaulted when she was 8 by a drunk Asuma. Son of the Sandaime, hand picked body guard of the Fire Daiymio, it makes for a potential total nation shaming if that got out, which is why she kept it a secret.

In cases where she works for Konoha's benifit, she only reveals it to the fire damiyo in secret, with evidence, and Asuma dies on a mission for the damiyo. Ones she doesn't, she usually finds a way to kill him, and in cases of the chunin exams, reveals it and messes with Ino's head; her clan specializes in mind jutsu, what's to say they wouldn't modify her memories to preserve both Konoha and the Fire Nation's pride and integrity?
