Glad to hear you'll like them! Then I'll keep using those game titles when needed, just to give it a nice touch.
Alright! I think it's a good idea, so that the fights will be more organized and yet still fun to play. Just one thing, I've looked at the Pokemon's actual moves around level 10, double the starter one, thinking it could give Vince and Joshua a nice edge in the fight. Should we state the levels too before a fight, or is it too clunky?
Hey there! I used the game mechanics in my reply, so with moves that can't be dodged, levels and stuff. But if you want we can go with the anime logics, so Pokemon can dodge and so on.
Also, sorry about the two titles at the beginning of the fight. I couldn't resist XD
Sorry if I didn't write anything yesterday: I'm currently studying a lot for my exams so free time is often a luxury XD
Besides, I hope you won't find the Professor's introduction too pointless, I thought it could be a funny scene and quite in line with the "wacky" first encounters with them in the games.
I hope I wrote a good start. I tried to keep the names around the "universe" theme, like the evil team, as "Hoshira" is star in Japanese plus "ra" from "Sora", and "Fulmen" is "glare" in Latin. Yeah, I know it's pointless, but I like if everything makes senses XD
Uhm, you're right, Machop is a good choice, so if you like it then it's a good choice for Umbreon. At the same time, as Ash has a Pikachu, then I could give Joshua a Trapinch so to have type advantage.
Also, I'll make up the name of the region and of the first town, just so to make everything properly. Do you have any suggestions, or do I have free hand for that?
Well, I like Water-types so I have no problems giving him a Totodile, as he's another favourite of mine.
So, things should be:
Ash: Scorbunny /// Joshua: Totodile
Vince: Bulbasaur /// Gary: Piplup.
Still, if you don't like Bulbasaur or Grass-types then I could find another one for Gary, no problems about that.
Uhm, for Gary I'd like Piplup: I like Empoleon, plus if Ash'll get the Fire starter then Gary is bound to pick the Water one just to be smug about it XD
Should Vince and Joshua have starters too?
If you want, I can start writing the set up. I was thinking about calling it "Pokemon - Youngster's Journey", but I'm not good with titles, so if you have a better idea you're more then welcome ^^
Got it! So we'll start with Ash and Gary and then, when they'll be about to leave or just after leaving the town, we'll get to the two Youngsters and so on. Is that it?
As we're going with all the Pokemon, I guess the starters could be too from all the previous generations, right?
Uhm, I like the name Joshua! So I guess we'll have Youngster Joshua and Youngster Vince: how will we start the story? Like, with everyone at the Professor's lab to choose the starter? Or settling in the first town? Or what?
