Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.

Trust me, sometimes it seems like that to me as well. But let me tell you something.
When I first came to this site, I was simply a lurker, I found someone wanting to do a rp, started it, it failed withing 50 posts. Then I was back alone, until I found another, and this one lasted a LONG while. It took me a year to get 10,000 posts.
Since then, its taken me half that time to get ANOTHER 10,000+. So eventually you'll find true friends on this site who like how you do things, and you'll stick with them, and then slowly you'll meet others, make more friends, and so the story goes in a positive feedback loop
The main thing is post ANY ideas that you have, while most will prolly just be passed by, some might attract someone who likes your style and wants to do one and possibly more with you, and be open to anything in your comfort range and even possibly overstep a bit of what you think is your comfort zone.
Yes but also don't forget, a RP is no fun if you look back and realize its a series of random only semi-related events. Some of my best roleplays throw twists and turns and make the story spicer and spicer until we're finally done with it
Well one of the main things is my grammer and spelling. I'm able to weave a good tale and when needed I can put more detail into a post than Ray Bradbury did in Captain Beattys death in Fahrenheit 451
