Yeah its ironic that the unofficial alternate scenario of the Cupcakes found in ''Rocket to insanity'' creepypaste as it actually handles a new installment to ''Cupcakes'' rather well even if I often despise the ''it was all a dream/nightmare'' retcon/explaining away cliché/trope but in this case it works as you at least have someone who knew how to handle writing something that picks up where another thing left off enough if it was a rather annoying cliché way to handle it .. yet then you get the same problem the maker of Cupcakes caused himself as in screwing the matter over to a degree .. But atleast it still made more sense and a lot of people still are willing to accept the majority of what was added to'' Rocket to insanity ''

Honestly I can handle or better put understand the logic behind companies screwing over Franchises as they you known use them to make money no matter how much people want to deny it … Its often a balancing act of '' If we do this and risk upsetting the fanbase/costumers is the profit gains worth the risk in the end?'' but in projects like fan works and such its neverly every time never really worth screwing over what you made

Yeah it was decent up till the person tried to continue the story made as the person turned it from something that in universe could work given Pinkie was shown even in the 2 parter premier to be off in the head in someway to be a over the top insane person that doesn't have any believability in most horror fiction that was made to be horror with such set up... So um yeah that's why the continuation by the author of the first installment of it most people refuse to acknowledge as a part of the same story and choice to have the ending of the first installment be in general the acknowledge part of the matter

Yes and no on how its written.. As you have to admit who wrote it put effort into it to have it be good for what it is unlike most creepypastes out there, because quite frankly its believable enough for how the main/first installment of it is.. but the continuation of it by the same author thrown out any believability it had out the window and screwed up the enjoyment for most readers .. But its still a odd case where it predates most anything that makes anyone assume she was that level of possible crazy and how everything kinda spiraled into a subgenre of the MLP fandom... Aswell as how its one of the few cases a fanon spawned from a creepypaste ever

Still just to be sure you know what I mean I am talking about the creepypaste where Pinkie basically tricks Rainbow into going to sugercube corner knocks her out and Rainbow wakes up in a place that is like out of a horror movie.. which its revealed that Pinkies cupcakes are soo good because she bakes pony parts in them aswell as made a sort of suit out of her victims skins and wings

Yeah I agree on that but then again its similar to other fandoms I am into really it its... Which some fanon does make sense others not so much in varies fandoms.. If you want some examples of other fandom fanons that make sense and some that don't I can tell you some

You know the creepypaste ''Cupcakes'' its a odd creepypaste scenario as it predates the mlp episode ''party of one'' Its crazy and odd because of how early this creepypaste predates the episode.. But this creepypaste spawned the fanon of Pinkie having two personality's one being Pinkie Pie and the other being Pinkamena Diane Pie , Pinkie being the 'sane' one and Pinkamena being the 'insane ' one and again this fanon predates the ''party of one '' episode … Heck the creepypaste and fanon also spawned a subgenre of fanworks ,you even have a whole backstory and lore that's seen as 'canon' to the fanon and creepypaste. I could give you the brief summery of the backstory, lore and mytho's of it .. but not every details as there is a lot of complex lore ,backstory and a 'shared universe' with other MLP creepypastes with Cupcakes

Yeah Sorry I rambled on fanon matters and how somethings kinda happened .. But they did. So just to sate my curiosity why did you ask on how the fanon of Celestia being addicted to cake coming about?

Also if you wanna how Scootaloo had in the fandom a fanon of her having dead parents and a orphan that may or may not be homeless that tries to keep it hidden if not succeeds .. Well its do to how the writers had been writing Scoots and the scenes/scenerio's and even a speech she gave Rainbow Dash was pushing the concept that Scootallo either had parents that was absent/gone most of the time or was dead.. Then we got the comic of her aunts way later and then the episode about her parents that shown even Cheerilee didn't believe Scootaloo had living parents …

Oh and fun fact in a older generation Cheerilee and Scootaloo was sisters with Cheerilee the old sister.. thus at the same time that the prior mentioned fanon of Scootaloo was going a almost as old fanon of Cheerilee stepping up and being the parental figure to her younger sister (in this case Scootaloo) was going strong and it'd have made plenty of sense if it was revealed in the cartoon or comic that Cheerilee was Scootaloo's older sister as it'd explain why she seemed extra caring and strict to Scootaloo and her friends
