Um can't place the person is the persons art on here? Might refresh my mermory on who it is. Which if the person is *b/dl artist its no surprise after the site got solid to some new company their has been a huge almost crusade against nearly anything with any infantile themes in it. I am not talking about just staff members deleting stuff or account bans it seems once it was common knowledge the site was solid a shit load of people on their started up against people who are *b/dl and into anime aswell probably to take advantage of the new likily new staff people who was put on as they'd not be wise to which are the loud minority on the site and which aren't.

Censorship and localization are two different things my friend,one is a clearly needed but can be abused, the other has some true need but most of the time its used as a excuse to remove a lot of stuff that is not of a set countrys culture to xenophobie levels at times.

As for jokes I don't mean culture jokes or a culture related matter thing getting altered I mean a joke matter getting being put in when localized for no fucking reason ,For example say you have a butler in a JPRG and their was no fucking jokes in this and their was no Batman reference in this matter nor did the bulter even remotely look like Alfred from any Batman media but the people in charge of bringing it over decided to change the damn sprite to look like Alfred and load this game with references and jokes whenever the fuck they could

Also why the hell keep scenes and not have any text for 2 to 3 minutes of scenes outside of dots when it was story data that was just talking about lore that's has nothing bad in the places it was brought to ?

As for censoring explain to me how the fucking hell a game that is a western RPG that comes out with worse content in the west in my country that's for example full of blood and gore and a JPRG that had even before coming over less amount of blood and gore and they both have the same rating yet the JPRG when coming over has a lot of the blood and gore removed for no reason and fyi same console they are on. In this case this happens alot

Also Funny enough a lot of JRPGS with less vulgar stuff before being brought over and after being brought over a lot less then before,while western games of the same rating that in both cases was games brought to Asturalia

so basically I don't see how your defense holds any water in these type of cases where the censoring and localization makes the games either jokes or something you could easily find in a western rating below what the JPRG is rated at as the game no longer is fit for such the rating it once was worthy of

Thing is a lot of shit is getting warped if not outrighted fucked over in games being brought over now like how they used to be ages ago and well a lot of JRPGS still are text heavy you know plus the text heavy ones you can get unofficial/fan patches for the ones that are text heavy for the text to be translated afew days to afew weeks after the game comes out in Japan. I bring this up as well I can name quite afew text heavy JRPG's that basically the people doing the text either just putt dots for quite a lot of where their should have been a lot of lines of meaningful stuff or turns important heartfelt moments to jokes,memes and the like.

Then you have a lot of stuff that needlessly gets cut or changed when stuff that's worse in western rpgs here don't and that stuff is worse yet has the the same rating

Don't get me wrong I can understand censoring,cutting stuff out or altering when its needed but when it seems the shit is done just to damage the games no that's when I am against that shit

Just thought I'd ask ,so do you import the JRPG's or just by them in store? I ask as well as things are going seems like localization of games are more and more going back to the darkages of game localizing when their really is no good reason for most of that shit anymore

So um you into any western rpg games? I'm into mostly JPRG games but some western ones I like aswell even if the western ones tend to be a fusion of RPG and another genre
