I know on the matter but the DBZ era of the anime did have a okay amount of filler so its eps wasn't as stretched out manga content wise as the one piece anime eps for last I checked no season had filler eps but was stretching manga content so then the eps use so little material each ep they tended to move at more of a snails pace

True but it was the anime success that really sprung the reusing matter more so then the manga sales that's why I said the anime has little going for it aside from last I checked no filler eposides despite the extremely worse stretching of content for episodes then dbz had.

Well I think its more of both higher up meddling and just makers wanting to cash in on the success of something simply to make money which still lead to over saturation of a theme/concept . Just depends on the higher ups and makers on if they are pushing or not

Also I doubt Once Piece will influence anime that much as last I checked about the only thing it had going for it was no filler granted that was at the cost of stretching material worse then DBZ ever did, not sure if either is still true as I dropped the anime ages ago from that stretching factor and its too damn long for me to pick up and watch again in my eyes even if I wanted to so not even checking the data

True but when you said fighting anime issues both the trouble that plagues them without higher ups and then the issues that higher ups cause among other matters come to mind as issues to me

Thing is if something works its okay to latch onto concepts but not to the point their is alot of the same shit infecting practically everything remotely related with little even sometimes no variations on concepts to something which basically leads to over oversaturation levels in the genre/theme

I think we both need to agree to disagree on that being the only thing Yu Yu Hakusho did better as I can list more then that

Dragon Ball era of the fhranise is great ,its the varies other eras of the fhranise after it that isn't as good after a point,also Its not a story matter that bothers me its the freaken fact of what DBZ pretty much did in the way it did most everything as it ended up as a after affect of how successfully it got caused the issues in a sense to kinda get imbedded into most Shonen series at this point. I honestly like silly and goofy stuff aswell as fighting but love interactions, yet if they aren't handled right when done together that kills a lot of peoples interest off for a series. Granted if you have shitty characters that's another turn off and depending on how you kill of characters or if you avoid killing them too much if killing them at all can ruin a series.

I love alterent timeline stuff if handled right and honestly Toriyama may not have handled it good enough he still handled it decently despite the fact he screwed up the basic string theory matter far to much for my liking in that series

Oh boy you really didn't get what I meant there as I never said the charaters of Yu Yu Hakusho developed that much, I said Yu Yu Hakusho got right what DBZ and onward got wrong in my view. while yes the Characters in Yu Yu Hakusho for the most part didn't change ,the series still did most of the concepts dbz had alot better while other concepts not so much .

While to me I like a mix of story(or atleast a proper goal) , characters I like that can keep me into it and things handled proper in a series,While having goofy stuff that's light hearted aswell . Granted their are afew excepts but still

Do it if you want though I will say some battle anime do have major issues,both old and new granted the worst offender in issues to me is the DB francize will everything past a specific point in the Db fhranise anyway as sure I like the varies series and some of the fighting games of it but I do see problems the series has as a whole honestly , Same with other series be it if I like them or not .

Hell my biggest dislike of the db fhranise as a whole is the fact the biggest issues with fighting animes had kinda sprang up more or less do to the dbz era of the fhranise but that's not all their are other reasons while as I said I still like the series but its still how alot of issues in fighting animes really become a problem when DBZ was so successful and still is so those issues keep getting put in other animes more and more

Also ever watch Yu Yu Hakusho? In my view it did right what the DB franchise got wrong,
