Okay, I added a paragraph about CM-34M in my last post.
Now that they've met Kenor, CM-61 might point out that Kenor had a number and a name, and they just have numbers, and proposing finding names for them. How do you feel about naming them?
What do you want to do with Kenor? We could take the poor raptor out of the picture for now, or follow what it's up to separately, or teach it a lesson for its arrogance...
We can also separate CM-34M from the others if we want to give our two main experiments some alone time.
Cool. Do we outline and define the main characters next? Their relationships. The area they live in. The atmosphere of the capitol city. The hierarchy of the system. Not everything, of course, but how far do we go for the rest of the set-up here.
Oh okay. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't shooting you down too hard on that. The WWE has a lot of fake storyline things going on but a lot of the action is real and dangerous. It basically IS that only the story and rivalry between the people competing is real. The capital city is super rich and it's biggest, money making event is the wrestling league and the stars it produces there. If you're big you get put on merchandise and stuff and if you're a jobber who loses all the time you'll be laughed at, humiliated, and expected to be the plaything of both the wrestler and the audience. The corruption that goes on there that formulates how this all works is going to be explored quite a bit and the journey the main characters take to go from down on their luck to the confines of the system will naturally lead to a lot of drama once they start pissing off the wrong people as well as uncovering the truth behind the matter. There's people there who can make you disappear or lock you into binding contracts that say you're a jobber forever or threaten your family or even keep you locked in prison or made into a personal slave or maid. There's a lot of bad going on there and they need to weather the storm to make it.
Of course, when shit hits the fan, the drama will ramp up, stakes will get a lot higher, and the infrastructure will be in danger of crumbling. Maybe their friendship could get tested a few times.
Oh yes. I want your character to fight as well. I can see there being gimmick fights that might involve new ways to wrestle. One of them could be a ridiculous racing theme that happens. Something like that.
Well alright. If you're confident you can come up with enough enemies than we can both play main characters as well as the adversaries we each face. However, my other main concern is that with my main character handling the wrestling stuff, the reason I initially wanted for all the anime and cartoon guys being the enemies is still kind of messed up since I'll be using them against your character for the racing stuff. That's another reason the idea kind of makes my mind go a bit dry.
Unless both main characters are allowed to compete in both things than it could work. Although that would ruin the reason you wanted to separate the events in the first place. I really want to use the enemies I have in the wrestling circuit though.
Oh I was actually suggesting this to ensure you wouldn't face burn out actually. If you're the main character, it'd be a significant role, sure, but I was ready to play pretty much everything else. The idea of us being two main characters and both having things to play as for the other to react to gives you more work. It evens it out among the two of us though so maybe you'd prefer that. I can see why you would.
I like the idea of potential OCs from our previous Rps being antagonistic again. Those two you mentioned are probably the best ones for something like this too. Also, it's great you have some knowledge of anime characters too but it can be more than just that. Cartoons and games are welcome as well.
Also, the corruption of the capital city could be something that easily leads to sabotage and cheating at the wrestling ring as well. In fact, that setting is almost a guarantee for that kind of stuff to happen. If we do the racing stuff it wouldn't need to be underground in order for it to lead to that stuff going on. Although it probably would make a good story of how the capital is all like "Those underground heathens keep sabotaging their own races and junk and are primitive and stupid" when they do the same shit but have a lot more money and guys in fancy suits at the top who can cover it up easier so to them it's okay. There's A LOT of ideas floating in my head for this actually.
I'm also okay with writing up novels per post. I do it all the time. I guess I was just being super courteous when I had it in my head that I could take up the role of all the enemies for you but if you wish to be some yourself and have me as another main character too so that we can share the character pool a bit, I'm cool with that.
