Thanks! And I figure it'd just be best this way since that's how we started the RP. Not really anything has to change, but it's important that we know the distinctions. I'm about to have to go, so I'll see about getting another post in before I do so.

I know, I'm not saying to give her any. I was just adding thought to my character as to why they might feel hungry when they very well are not hungry. ^_^'

The Rotom, while teasing Abi before said something along the lines of one-month, but that's not important. If I understand correctly, this Rotom knows her actual age but is giving her a hard time for the yucks. That's okay, but I just want to make sure there's a consistent thought here.

There's a way to test waters on that. For example, Abi recently had a thought that she was hungry for whatever reason - Maybe she just really wants comfort food that's not in any way shape or form related to a bottle or bowl of strained veggies? XD Anyways, off of that information I planted seeds of another feeding session without actually remembering that she just came out of one and by extension wouldn't be hungry again. So with some reflex on the matter I changed how my character reacted to seeing the bottle in such a way that you wouldn't be able to mistake my angle on it; rather or not you pursued that path afterwards is a different story, but it looks like it had the desired result in the RP.

Try not to be so passive and only react, but give something to interact with. Give your character agency like they're not just a doll that is predictable in scope, but has it's own autonomous agenda it peruses. If you have to react, which is common, try to give it more than just a "the thing happened to the character", but run through how the character feels about it. What are their thoughts? What are the sensations? Are there smells, are those smells pertinent? Are they worried about something else? Does something have their attention aside from this and that's affecting how they're reacting to this situation?

If your character feels stiff, the other RPer will have less fun writing for them and additionally it will be more difficult since they are the ones coming up with all of the material. Keep it a fresh back and forth engagement.

Take the current R.P. for example. Try and analyze my character and how she acts and reacts to various things, adding into the narrative rather than just noting on it and leaving any progression for you as the lead in the RP. Giving your other RPer material to build off of is extremely important as I've learned.

Also, try to keep it within the characterization - You just used "you" in your most recent post where as you're not the Rotom and I'm not Abi - They're our characters, and we need to make sure to keep that distinction in check. Please change that, as Rotom is addressing Abi. ^_^'

Hmmm? You mean the one we started waaaaaay long ago? I'd be fine with pulling that one back up, but we'd need to definitely work on our approach with it. As a sub character you're very 'pillowy' if you know what I mean and it makes it tough sometimes to write interactions since the character doesn't give me anything to work with.

That being said, this Rotom one is alright and you're doing a pretty good job. ^_^
