Yeah … I just mean with how its a near consistent thing that its hard to over look that one fact ..
Also a cutie mark is either a play on the term birth mark or as what makes more sense is a reference to a quarter mark, which a Quarter Mark is where a pattern would be shaved into a horse's flank.
I say its one or the other as MLP;FIM cartoon staff is kind divided on what they say it is... Most of the staff have been say its a reference to Quarter marks sense Startlight shown up
Which I wouldn't have brought this matter up if not for how its a near consistent thing in MLP;FIM cartoon canon that every play on words/terms/phrases that match a real world version of the things mentioned
don't forget acting like kids aswell … But yeah its either that or the writers didn't quite think the play on a word/term through as it gives a whole new view point of everything when you take in how the blackboard/chalkboard has been shown with what you'd teach alot younger children and how the students behave … Its almost like either they age or mature slower ..they was put in school later then average or its a special education case …
Hey I just realized we actually got a age range for the CMC and all the other students in the same room as if we go with the thought that Ponyvilles School house has rooms for each grade and not a old one room school house set up ,with Diamond Tiara in the proper grade... Well in season 1 a ep Diamond Tiara is having a '' cute-ceañera '' which I found out today is a play on the real life term of a thing called a '' Quinceañera'' which if you don't know is the following
A Quinceañera is a celebration of a girl's 15th birthday...
So yeah it seems we are dealing with 15 year olds acting like kids and treated as such by everyone despite their age in Ponyville .. Yeah makes you kinda think in a way do to that fact ,it also gives credibility to the theory that Snips and Snails are mentally challenged given if they are 15 years old and still gets tangled in a lot of gum and all the other stuff they have done in the mlp;fim cartoon
Yeah, honestly I wouldn't have a problem with that ep or other stuff I have seen in it if the show was targeted towards a specific audience from the start and not was in flux as it started for 2 year olds and was in flux most seasons on tv age ratings going from one age rating to the next till settling on age age ratings of PG quite a while later..
True but the problem comes with how that can be viewed as by those watching.. In universe I get it though on why something like it could be over looked …
You known also Rainbow Dash did something that was illegal for sure as in'' 28 Pranks Later ''she literally swapped the CMC scout cookies with prank cookies that no one would have known if Pinkie hadn't blabbed about … But yeah she did something illegal given it seems the CMC are members of Equestrias version of Girl scouts and if its anything like the real world Girl scouts then Rainbow messed with a official government recognized organizations products9as last I checked Girl scouts are seen as a official organization by the government) … Which means a lot of hefty fines if not jail time or both for just that matter
Yeah sorry bout rambling just with the lack of time at the moment till sometime next month I'll be having bursts of days posting in rp and other days chatting about MLP and other matters
