Diana watched from the window as Vanessa walked towards the front door. She’d grown so much. She remembered a thirteen year old girl with curly hair and a boundless smile. Now a young women, although still curly haired and marked by the scars of her non consensual transformation into Silver Swan.

Her light limp was still present, her right hand using a crutch to support her own weight. Diana remembered visiting the hospital again and again during her physical therapy. Julia had held her as she sobbed impotent apologies.

Moving on from the past, Diana answered the doorbell to her present.

“Thank you for agreeing to come, Vanessa.”

“It’s the least I could do. Besides, mom’s out doing her bingo stuff. You wanted me to babysit, right?”

What did you think of my other messages? You know, the Zatanna idea, the padded paragons joke, and that little snippet excerpt.

Okay. More ideas. I think it’d be fun if we have the Wonder Trio going outside into the city with Circe, and then a villain pops out, and then Donna and Cassie need to play dibs to pick who stays with Circe.

In Wonder Woman’s 1987 run (genuinely had some of her best work) Diana was essentially part of a surrogate family of Julia and Vanessa Kapatelis. (Vanessa was essentially like a younger teen sister.) I think, it could be neat if we had an older Vanessa maybe show up. Maybe as a babysitter so we can get some Circe time away from the Wonders.

Between Wonder Girl, Zatanna, Oracle, and Batgirl, it’s almost like the superhero world just has a subsection of incontinent related misadventures.

They should make a hero support group. Padded Paragons.

And also. I had an idea about how to work in Zatanna.

What if Diana decides to take Little Circe and maybe with Donna and/or Cassie, to one of Zatanna's magic shows. Diana is friends with Zatanna, so maybe after the show, she meets with the Maiden of Magic behind the scenes and asks if she can cash in on a favour to help out her sidekick. Maybe Cassie makes a comment about diapers, which is how Zatanna mentions her own misadventures with regressive based magic.

I wrote this because I wanted to try and expand on Cassandra's "Taken care of by oracle dream sequence form the RP, and also because I've mostly been doing Babs snippets and I love my girl Cass.

Anyway, this is following after her diaper change.

Watching mommy at work, her fingers effortlessly gliding through the keyboard and opening windows online, was a mesmerising experience for Cassandra. Even if she didn’t understand everything, it was always a pleasure to see Barbara in her element.

A yawn escaped the young bat, something that didn’t go unnoticed by her caretaker.

“Is it nap time already?”

There was a nod and a few keys pressed before Oracle pulled away from her desk, asking Cass to follow her.

Cassandra waddled after Barbara; following to her bedroom. A dark blue and pastel yellow nursery with a pile of messy clothes and only her Batsuit hung up with dignity. Maybe it was childish, but it was hers.

Barbara rolled herself to Cassandra’s crib, patting the railing.

“Feel up to climbing in?”

With a nod, Cassandra began the journey, pulling herself over the bars and landing with… very little dignity or grace, her padded butt now sticking up in the air. Not one to be downhearted by a misstep, Cass wiggled her waist with a giggle, making Barbara crack a smile for a moment.

“Okay, okay, you’re super cute, I know. It’s your nap time, get to it, kiddo.”

With a pout, Cassandra manoeuvred herself into a lying position, pulling a blanket over her chest, looking very comfy.

A nightlight was switched on, filling the room with a gentle purple glow. Soothing, safe, secure. Everything Cassandra wasn’t as a child.

With a final goodbye and wishes of sweet dreams from Barbara, Cassandra closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
