I'm confident in the current staff as well but I still feel that we need a main "Go to" person to represent this site against external attacks (I'm not talking about the recent Spam attacks. Remember there was once a "Member" who questioned the morality and legality of pictures with underage characters wearing diapers? Xero explained to that "Member" that it was both moral and legal since no gentials were being exposed, even with pictures depicting diaper changes) or to officially alert Akuma or Stoner of technical issues that require their or a vendor's immediate attention (e.g. Either vBulletin, the back end database or one of the web host servers crashing with no one being able to log on until the problem is resolved). Also, I guess that you were assigned "Janitorial work" (Wiping out 'bots) for vanishing so much and starting to become "Out of the loop"!


Ah, I see. I've never played "Mystic Messenger" since I'm not into otome VNs. I prefer bishoujo and yuri bishoujo VNs.

It's good to hear that all is fine with the two of you. For a moment, I thought that you would leave us as well since Xero no longer visits here. I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of members are concerned that the site doesn't have a "Main go to person". Recently, the site was under attack three times by spambot(s) that left Spam threads behind in the General Chat area. Ryoko Matoi did her best to handle the situation but not being a technical person, she just banned the "user" (Not the IP address) and deleted the last Spam thread which does not ensure that the site will be protected in the future against spam attacks from that or other spambots. I had recommended that a vBulletin anti-spam solution be applied (It involves some vBulletin setting changes and two add-ons to be installed) -> https://diaperedanime.com/forum/show...517/index.html but no one among the active staff other than Ryoko Matoi acted. Most recently, the site went down last weekend for more than 24 hours. There appeared to be a problem with the web host's server which only affected this site and not the other remaining sister sites (AnimeOTK, FurryAi and YaoiAi [ODAnime was shutdown due to lack of visits. AnimeAi was also affected by the web hosts' server crash AFAIK]). When we were finally back up, many members here, including myself, expressed their concerns in the Shoutbox that we don't have a representative in the "Admin council" (I think that's what someone called it) that oversees all of Ai's sites and thus our site has the lowest priority when it comes to being routinely maintained or secured whenever a problem arises (e.g. An external attack or internal hardware/software failure). Hi Zinnia! How are you? I was just wondering how Xero is doing and thought you would be the best person to ask since you supposedly are in touch with him on a daily basis IRL (I'm not sure if "see" was the right word to use instead of "are in touch" since on his profile page here under "location" it says "Somewhere in Nevada ..." but on both his and your dA! pages it says "United Kingdom"). It's been one month after he has been gone from here - Is he getting better or is he about the same?
