,I only could say I like season 1 and part of season 2 as season 1 is reasonable to give slack to given its said by those who worked on season 1 Nick at first only wanted 1 season but then renewed it for multiable seasons after seeing the ratings . I only like the first part of season 2 because it was decent till they got the ''idiot ball rolling'' with up till then competent enough things and after that it all completely keep getting worse and worse.

Luckily I never seen the trailer or heard of it till it was over(I cut cable/satelight for a long time so I mainly meandering around finding things I like or can tolerate ) So anyway what I find the most pathetic of Korra series is how the two behind Korra tried to claim it went into more mature topics in a more mature way then Avatar did which I to be sure nostalgia wasn't blinding me got friends who never seen either and got them to watch both. If you guess the end result they sided with Avatar series being more mature then the Korra series you'd be right.

I could have sworn there was a mention in Avatar about it,but that might be fanon mixing with my canon knowledge. Speaking of Fanon is it just me or is the Korra spin-off written more or less like some of the more shitty Avatar fanfics ? I mean you have pretty much every checkbox filled in for an Avatar ''After the series ended'' fanfic in the Legend of Korra spin-off .


I will say though cursed items in the spirit library make sense to a degree

Oh nice a darker rp and a lighter tone set up. That also reminds me if I recall right , wasn't it canon in Avatar that the spirit library has some cursed scrolls and books?

I was just pointing out about the only partially untrue fact as its only partially untrue as if you follow the comics its not out of nowhere but if you follow just the cartoon its true its more or less out of nowhere.

Personally, your problems and more I have with the Korra spin-off. Though I will point out an argument could be made that most Earthbenders on the police are required to have some level of metal bending given all the metal used in things now. Add to that its implied that the wires in the shoots are shot out and retracted by some mechinishm . Note I am not defending the series so much as pointing out something that can make sense or is implied or is given validness in the comics to some level .

Very well I have been in the mood for darker rp anyway so I can work with that.

To be fair the lesbian angle wasn't so last minute as the comics had storylines tied in with the cartoons that developed the lesbian relationship before it showed up in the cartoon or so I can gather atleast. Anyway I have practically no ideals for Korra unless you would be game for Kuvira(sp?) to get Korra under her thumb

Feel free to rant on it now if you'd like as I have my own share of issues in that cartoon, the Korra comics and the ones behind it aswell as the two main people behind the Korra Spinn-off has some major concerning discontents of proper responses to things and logic behind things if you look up there interviews/ panels/commentaries and so on .

Anyway as for series I wanna talk about .. Humm I have been wanting to try a Avatar rp with you again even try the spin-off one as Korra really needs humbled and such in that series
