Zatanna sighed as she entered her living room. Today had been a long day. Not just a double feature show. Not just a magic villain attacking, but she’d been cursed by something humiliating.

Not even the funny story kind of humiliating, this was just embarrassing. Tugging down her black leggings, she witnessed what she was suspecting since she got hit by the magic blast.

A plastic diaper with bunny prints, wrapped around her waist and seemingly immune to her best attempts to remove it. Basic magic spells hadn’t done anything. But now that she was in the comfort of her home and away from any prying media who would love to see famous stage magician try to turn her underwear to normal, she could try some more creative attempts.

"niaga seitnap otni repaid nrut!" She exclaimed, hoping to feel thin leather around her waist instead of childish plastic. Instead, she suddenly felt a warmth growing onto her front waist. Heat rushed to her cheeks as she realised what was happening.

Fantastic...

She might need to call in some help. After a change.

I did one for Zatanna too.

The first thing Stephanie smelled when she woke up was waffles and syrup inches away from her face.

“Wow, those are like right in my face.”She muttered as her eyes blearily opened to see her mother sitting on her bed holding out the plate of breakfast.

“Figure that’d wake you up.”

Trying to grab the delights, Stephanie was disappointed as they were pulled away from her grasp, necessitating her to exit the beautiful warmth of her bed.

Doing so, Stephanie noticed her mother’s expression become one of sympathy.

“Oh, my. Maybe breakfast can wait until you’re clean.”

Stephanie’s hand snuck down under her pyjama pants, wincing a bit at the damp squish.

It was what the doctors called a “necessity due to physical trauma scars.” Stephanie liked to call it what it actually was: “freaking embarrassing.” College girls don’t need to have diaper checks.

“You know what comes next. Come on.”

Blushing a bit and knowing there was no point arguing, Stephanie covered her face as she laid down. Her mother always insisted on changing her whenever this happened at home. She thanked the stars that she’d been lucky enough to avoid public… incidents.

“Just be quick. I don’t want the waffles to get cold.”

A chuckle.

“Perish the thought.”

Being a master of hiding things, Stephanie looked at her closet, where her Batgirl suit (technically Cass, but it was given to her. For some reason.) was hidden in a box that looked perfectly unappealing to open.

If she could try to be Batgirl, She could handle college stuff. And besides, she knew how to use the bathroom. What’s the worst that could happen?

I wanted to try writing a theoretical prologue. So that whenever we start, we have something to work off from.

What do you think of the idea?

I had an idea for the Zatanna rp? What if there’s a part of the curse where whenever Zatanna tries to use magic to circumvent the curse, there’s a side effect: Either the padding gets thicker (good for comedy and slow burn realising.) she has an accident (good, but could be overused), or she gets a little babyish for a bit?

Okay, a magical wardrobe malfunction is way better. Yes/

And the Steph could be “A change of suit.” Referring to Stephanie as a new Batgirl and how she’s certainly going to be changed in more ways than one?

Oh, and about the Zatanna to, I thought of a name: How does “Babysitting a magician” sound? Or… “a magic change of pace?”

…If you’d be interested? Oh, and the rp would be more based in canon instead of the baby bat au. Just with… our flair.

Also. The idea came from when I was daydreaming about Stephanie having a bit of a mental break when she comes home from vigilante work and Crystal sees her in a sobbing fit and slowly cares for her while Stephanie just sniffles and sobs.

I just thought the idea had potential, we can work it out later on.
