I've been steeped in fantasy fiction, SNES-era JRPGs, and various forms of Internet-based amusements since I was a wee seed Crystal of twelve. The sheer Mary-Sue of my AB/DL "niche" character has given way to a more introspective, broken sort of person, but most people just want the dominant, deranged little dimensional traveler. I have other characters and settings, and I'm usually willing to discuss role-playing-related matters with people.
I've been a fan of the newest incarnation of Ponies since about the third episode, and it's become a favorite setting for me alongside RP based on Slayers, Sailor Moon, and Harry Potter, to say nothing of more Tolkeinesque or Gygax-inspired settings.
