The idea I have is that Naruto is the 7th hokage which has been his dream but now that he achieved it he doesn't know what to do anymore

So one night female kyuubi talks to him in the seal as she knows what he has been really wanting and that is a real childhood not the one he had being hated, kicked out of places etc

So she makes him a deal he gets to experience a childhood and she gets a kit and she leaves the seal permanently


We can do this two ways kyuubi uses a jutsu the sage of six paths taught her and they go back in time to where Naruto just became a genin

Or

Kyuubi does a jutsu and when Naruto wakes up he's still an adult but everyone See's him as a baby
