Well for Mavis that's a easy one seeing as she for most of the series had been locked in a Lacrima ageless her body could have anthopied from not getting used and thus need cared for like a little one. Plus in the spin-off Fairy Tail Zero it shown Mavis was treated as a indentured slave to the guild she was at a very long time ago and how stayed rather childish all her life. Which after that guild was destroyed and people at a point found her in time she formed the fairy Tail Guild.. Heck the Island Members test on to get higher up in Fairy Tail is where her home and the guild she once was a part of had been before people stumbled upon it and thus her. Heck her magic even had allowed her to seemingly manifest a friend from a kind version of her former guildmasters child that only she can see and interact with. But yeah Mavis would likily take to being treated kind and loving and treated like a little one much like a fish does to water from how much she lacked it


As for Levy.. Well maybe some magic goes wrong and revealing she has a little side, Maybe a bad guy had some magic that reveals a persons inner most self or maybe her two fanboys end up accidently revealing her little side to others ?
