Okay then I wasn't saying we had to have it in part 2 I just was saying if you preferred it given how the canon is on the matters .. My question is though.. How did you miss the timeskip fact in canon anyway? I mean it was pretty blatant in all the dubs I am aware of and the subs but when Naruto left in Part 1 it was mentioned alot he was leaving on a long training trip that'd last for years and when he returned in part 2 it was stressed that years had passed sense anyone seen Naruto and that it was about time he returned .. atleast in the first Episode it was loaded about that and if I recall right the next for episodes was still on about how long its been and such

Well seeing as you said Naruto has only been a Genin for a year in the rp that sets the timeline as Part 1(original) as in universe between part 1 and Part 2(Shipudden) there was a three year timeskip thus it'd be part 1 unless you want to edit out that length of time he was a genin you said so as to have them older for less innocent stuff happen with our subs
