I'm sorry to hear that. It's sort of like the case of Tinnitus that I have (It's not mild but it's not severe either - It's somewhere in between the two extremes). During the day, there is enough surrounding noise in my environment to drown out the ringing in both of my ears but at night especially before I sleep, I need to turn on a small fan in my bedroom to mask the ringing, otherwise the ringing in my ears above my quiet bedroom is loud enough to stop me from going to sleep (The ringing sounds like the annoying, high pitched noise that an old CRT TV makes when it is left on with the volume set all the way down to zero). There's no cure or effective treatment (I've tried supplements like
Lipo-Flavonoid to no relief - I found out later that taking a B-Complex vitamin and sucking on some lemon juice would be about the same thing but at half the cost of Lipo-Flavonoid - A 90 day supply of the OTC supplement costs $20.00 and is not covered by insurance [Supplements are never covered since they are not FDA approved unlike prescription medication]) for Tinnitus. Sufferers like me just have to get used to the ringing or go insane (I've heard horror stories where people have committed suicide because the ringing noise became too much for them to bear anymore)!
Cool! I wish you the best!
