What is your taste in short stories for enjoyment? As I may be a casual comic reader but I can atleast give you comic eras that tended to have specific things in it on what I know of that comic era

Main problem is I think in why they gave her a dark take each comic depiction is the storys of her past and life is the so called''Dark age of comics'' we are in right now.

Just checked and yes she was I love the cartoon take on her I don't like her comic depiction/story they gave her in different takes

I'm starting with the first X-men cartoon to be honest albeit wasn't evolution the cartoon that had the genberbent Wolverine clone about a year before she appeared in comics?

I had a ideal where Rogue after finally getting full control of her powers is craving alot of affection as she had deprived herself of most kinds of affection for so long for the safety of others she ends up being now being able to freely touch others without trouble being now rather needy and touchy feelly to a point someone on the team asks what the hell is up wrong and someone makes a comment when they get a answer that either sparks a interest in Rogue or gives a ideal to someone to get Rogue over this stage or atleast a way to deal with the freedom she has now with contact and such this interest or way is of course Rogue in the end being babied
