I do like MLP, but this premise was written to not reauire any existing setting. I was referring to real world when I said humans. The dreamchasers leave a world of magic and simple childlike morals, and emerge into a much more realistic world.
The concept was written so that it could be done as a group RP or 1 on 1. If it's 1 on 1, then we'd only control 1-2 characters each, whatever we think works best and we're comfortable with. The desperation would depend on whether the characters try to learn to use the toilet.
So basically, we share a lot of the same interests. Cool. Do you prefer to use OCs or fan stuff?
My go-to RP premise is characters going through toilet training.
Alternatively, what do you think of this premise: The world of the RP resembles the real world, except there's a popular cartoon series called The Dreamchasers about a group of furry heroes that fight monsters and protect the world from the villianous Doctor Nefarious. It's a cheesy action-filled romp, a very family-friendly thing, where the characters are adults but have conflicts relatable to kids.
After failing to conquer the world one too many times, Doctor Nefarious decides to find another world to invade. She creates a portal to travel to another universe, but the Dreamchasers show up to stop her. Their fight destablizes the portal, which explodes and magically transports them, Doctor Nefarious, and several innocent people nearby to the real world (The world where their adventures are just a television show.)
The characters need to adjust to their new home, but there are several obstacles to overcome. Modern technology is strange and unfamiliar to them. They don't know anyone and have to be taken in by strangers. They've lost their magic, because magic doesn't exist in the real world. Cartoon physics don't apply to them anymore, and their cartoonish ability to withstand injury is gone too. But most importantly, their knowledge is limited only to things that were shown in the show. Since they never had sex in the show, they don't know anything about it, but that they're in the real world they now have fully-functioning genetalia and a sex drive. Since the show never depicted them using the bathroom, (or even showed a bathroom), they don't have a clue that something happens to food after you eat it. They're not incontinent, they feel when they have to go, but they don't know what it means, or what they're supposed to do about it. A lot of them will probably end up in diapers.
The RP is about them trying to get on their feet and figure out a way to get home, while at the same time exploring and coming to terms with all these new things that literally didn't exist in their home, like sex and waste elimination and electricity. It came together out of my personal RP preferences, including sexual discovery and exploration, characters not understanding body signals, and character-driven interactions.
Good question. I generally like character-driven RPs where the characters themselves are not AB/DL but are in diapers as a matter of circumstance (generally because they're not toilet trained, but I also do incontinence.) My favorite fetishes are desperation (scat and watersports), internal bodily sensations, unprotected sex (that recognizes the risk of pregnancy), and sexual exploration.
