Canary and Huntress win the day and maybe Huntress is tired of being out of the loop, so she comes with Dinah to Barbara’s apartment?

Thoughts! Any additions? No pressure to follow.

Okay: Here’s my idea for the sequence of events: Dinah and Barbara’s therapy conversation ends after Dinah gives her speech and Huntress calls for backup -> Barbara goes to her room and rifles through one of her drawers and pulls out a pacifier, sucking on it as a bit of stress relief as she accesses her setup -> she greets Huntress and Canary, lisping through her paci which causes Huntress to ask if she’s sucking on a lollipop or something-> Oracle blushes and takes it out and gives the rundown of the area. (Eight thugs, three hostages in the next room guarded by a guy with an assault rifle.) Huntress is ordered to sneak through vents to get the drop on the hostage taker while Canary is given the option to wait for more info as Oracle records the criminal conversation or to start fighting.

…I thought of something potentially funny but I’m not sure how to incorporate it: Baby-Bat meeting with Commissioner Gordon on a rooftop/on the streets. . Maybe she and Batgirl/Cass together.

I don’t know, I just think it could be funny.

Okay, I’m back, and I have an idea: what if the therapy session gets interrupted by Huntress calling Canary for backup, so Dinah goes “We’ll continue this later, but I need you to get into Oracle mode to help out, which then segues into Barbara popping in her paci and getting to work?

Maybe Huntress calls after Dinah’s speech against Barbara’s negative self talk, just an idea.

Heads up, I need to go do something, I’ll be back in about an hour. See you soon.

“I… accessed the criminal database?” Barbara answered, earning a finger snap from Dinah at her correct answer.

“Bingo, then you found a way to contact me and helped me bust a massive mob deal with Huntress. You formed The Birds of Prey. You became Oracle and had the god damn Justice League calling you up. And that’s not all you did. Remember Cass? That girl barely knew how to speak or even be a person until you taught her to. You gave a girl with no name and no clue on social interaction an identity and a sense of self worth.”

Dinah wasn’t done.

“And even now, when you got regressed into this, before you called me, what did I see you doing? You were at your wheelchair, typing away on your setup, working because you weren’t about to let a flower of youth stop you from working. And about a month after with some help from yours truly, you got back out into the crime fighting frontlines.”

Dinah stopped for a second.

“Side note, did you see that newspaper headline? You’ve got fans, Barb,” Dinah remarked before switching back to seriousness.

“I have said it a million times and I’ll say it a million more until your head finally gets it. You are amazing, Barbara Gordon, and there’s not a force on this planet that can stop that brilliant mind of yours.”
