Masuda didn’t care as her arm was damaged, for as Vide grabbed her by the face, the beast retracted back into her flesh. She was a normal human shaped person shoved through multiple buildings.

And multiple people.

As she felt the blood on her damaged body, and the bones of other people impact her skin, she screamed as the air around her turned ice cold. A horn then shot out of her head, stabbing Vide in the chest. And that wasn’t all. Her body started mutating and convulsing as the skeletal structure and form shifting to accommodate the magic she was outputting, and all the beasts that were inside her.

Vide grunted a bit as the horn pierced her chest, but her grunts turned into chuckling as she pushed herself deeper into the horn, letting it impale her body. She then turned her entire body, spinning the horn along with her.

As Masuda was spun around, her flesh and body morphed more and more. Eventually the horn broke free, sending her into a building. Dust and debris created a cloud that shielded her from view. Except slowly something came out.

”You… smiling…”

It was a creature with a long snake like neck that ended in an upside down head. Along the neck were vicious spikes, all of which were drilling a green glowing substance. It’s shoulder blades jutted out in ACTUAL blades, and its left arm turned into a crab like claw pincer. It seemed to not possess a right arm, but as for its lower half, it was that of a tiger, if a tiger had exposed nerves. Though the creature had a frail structure, it still looked like it was made for killing. The craziest thing was how its mouth was full of spiky tongues. By all logic it shouldn’t have been able to speak.

”…Want… to keep… smiling?”

Vide began grinning, "I haven't seen tricks like that before... how interesting," Vide chuckled. She seemed strangely invigorated before slowly charging at Masuda, or whatever she was. She charged her body again, sprouting spectral wings and swinging her hammer at Masuda.

The weird centaur like thing pointed its pincer at Vide. Instead of making a move to run at her, the claw opened to reveal a barrage of snakes that shot at Vide. The reptiles all exploded before the creature that was formerly Masuda swung its head around and wrapped its spiky neck around Vide. The spikes dug into her skin as the green glowing stuff made her… ticklish? It appeared the the stuff made her even the slightest breeze of wind feel like a thousand tickles. It affected her skin as as the creature kept wrapping its neck around Vide.

Vide began to flare up, laughing in glee as she took all the explosions, not even attempting to block them. She flared up again as the spikes dug into her skin. She tried to move her arms, attempting to break free of Masuda's binding grip. It was working too, as Vide's strength seemed exponentially stronger than what it was only seconds ago.

Suddenly a voice rang out through the city, echoing across the streets, reaching every corner. "THIS IS LORD NOMINA VON ROSENBACH SPEAKING. I AM USING MY AUTHORITY AS THE RULER OF THIS DOMAIN TO OVERRIDE ANY AUTHORITY VIDE MAY HOLD. KILL THE WOMAN, MASUDA, BEFORE THE LORD OF WRATH RAVAGES MY STUFF! WHOEVER SUCCEEDS SHALL BE GRANTED THEIR FREEDOM!" She was looking to take away Vide's reason to go all out. All in the hopes that she could keep as much property as possible.

The populous perked up at that, scrambling about in search of a hero, not recognizing that the weird creature the demon was fighting was the woman Nomina was talking about.

Somna yawned in laziness as she tried to cover her ears and whined. “Masuds took the headphones with her…” Meaning she had to listen to all of this. All the noise, all the screaming, all of… Masuda… “…What’s going on with her anyway?” It was the first time she had ever really asked anything about… well anything, Either she was really out of it or Masuda had really gotten to her. “I’ve never heard her scream so loud before…”

Chartreuse was feasting on the body of the lady Nomina was possessing before she perked up, "Well, so long as she remains mindful of Vide's ability, she should be able to flee to safety without making the situation worse for herself." She then returned to eating the body. It was a bizarre sight for anybody running by, to see a woman wearing diapers seemingly cannibalizing someone in the middle of the street. Certainly added to the madness occurring.

Amorifleur froze at that, "... Did you two by any chance tell her of Vide's abilities?" she asked Jealoth and Somna, to which Jealoth shook her head. "AGGGGH!!" Amorifleur clutched her hair in panic.

Meanwhile Vide was busy cracking her arms, casually stretching as she faced Masuda.

And Madness it was. People were running about and looking for the hero as the monster fought Vide. It seems that while the beast wanted Vide dead, it also wasn’t in control of its various abilities.

An example of this was shown when its neck was ripped off, and the discarded head burst into bubbles Masudas body convulsed and a new head grew in its place. This time it was that of a eyeless crocodile that had rocks for teeth.

And that wasn’t the only change that occurred. Masudas lower half turned into that of a snake with a stinger on the end while bat like wings grew from her back. Her arms were now missing, an eye now being on her chest. It flew upwards and spread it’s wings, causing gravity in the area around her to vanish.

"Oh man! Oh man, this is soo good!" Vide laughed as she burst into flame, sprouting spectral wings. She leaped upwards at the serpent, bashing it across the face with her hammer, before landing back on the ground.

Suddenly, bright yellow flame began flickering beside Vide. Soon, it burst into embers, growing taller than Vide. It took the loose shape of a humanoid, no discernible features other than two arms and legs.

"Vide! What in Father's name, are you doing!" the flame began to spout in a distorted voice, "Our objective is to find Nomina von Rosenbach and bring her to heel before she jumps ship. We can deal with the hero later! Now is not the time for any dilly dally!"

"I found her, Fahfriyte. I took care of her," Vide rolled her eyes.

"You what? Did you kill her?! Vide! Answer me now!" said the sparks of flame, which was apparently the Lord of Pride, or at least an extension of her. It seemed that Amorifleur was slightly off in her guess. The Lord of Pride was actually able to get the Lord of Wrath to cooperate, to a certain extent.

"No, just an avatar. I interrupted whatever she was doing with the hero," Vide groaned.

"So she is still not actually found, Vide! Ignore the hero and rendezvous with me or go find Rosenbach yourself! Our primary objective comes first!" Fahfriyte barked.

"Fahfriyte, you are absolutely right. Whatever would I do without your wisdom?" Vide said before jabbing her tail at the flickering flame, causing it to dissipate. Maybe Amorifleur's guess was right after all. "Where were we? Ah, yes," she said, turning her full attention back to Masuda with a grin, getting ready to attack again.
