"Well first mommy got you some big girl panties you had been begging for but wouldn't try them on and then you forgot to tell mommy thank you for the food and your present" Kate told Kenzie.

Kenzie gave a little whine, what was she going to do, tell her mom the truth? "Thank you?"

"Now it's time for bed and don't forget you have school tomorrow" Kate told Kenzie as she put her in the bed and put the rails up.

Kenzie grumbled, rails? Why did her bed have rails? She didn't even remember. But she didn't question it and rolled over. Oh she had school, oh that could not be good.

"Kenzie wake up we have a problem" Kate told Kenzie in the morning as she put her on the changing table.

Kenzie squirmed around and blinked, wow she slept great! "What?"

"Your night time diaper leaked and completely ruined your favorite bedsheets and the mattress so I guess you will be sleeping in your crib again and you will have to be put in thicker diapers ok ?" Kate asked Kenzie knowing that it was the only option.

Kenzie kicked her feet and whined, that wasn't fair! It wasn't her fault she shouldn't have to sleep in a crib. "Can't you just buy new ones?"

"Not until later in the week I'm sorry and you need thicker nighttime diapers. So want to try wearing your big girl panties today ?" Kate asked Kenzie as she carried her into the bathroom.

Kenzie shook her head, she'd had no luck with making it to the bathroom, and with her going to school today she wasn't going to bank on starting. On the bright side, she'd be really smart compared to everyone else! "Nuh-uh."
