Kairi blushed as she was carried but quickly cuddled once the two were wrapped up in the blanket.

Yuffie raised her arms up.

Aerith hummed softly as she began to gently rock Kairi from side to side.

Tifa pulled Yuffies shirt down over her arms and head. " there. so Yuffie do you need anything? " Tifa asked.

Kairi began to relax. she cuddled close and fell into a light sleep while unknowingly sucking her thumb

Yuffie's stomach rumbled again. "Food!" Yuffie cheered, pumping her fist and narrowly missing Tifa.

Aerith smiled at the action and held Kairi close, content to let the girl rest where she was. Mentally, she went over a checklist for things she'd need to care for an infantile teenage girl, and how she'd go about getting them.

" easy there. " Tifa said giggling. " ok lets get you fed. " Tifa said carrying Yuffie to the kitchen.

Kairi was woken up by the thunder. " stupid storm! " she huffed.

Yuffie fidgeted in Tifa's arms, being carried was something she usually avoided as it was a sign of weakness, yet now it didn't seem to bother her as much. She eventually chalked it up to anxiety over her situation.

"It'll be okay." Aerith said, running her fingers through Kairi's hair.

" so Arieth whats the plan? " Tifa asked as she sat Yuffie at the kitchen table.

Kairi perked up and rested her head on Arieths chest.

"For now we'll just have to take care of these two until either Merlin developes some sort of cure, or that Heartless is sighted and we can send one of the others to deal with it." Aerith said after a moment.

Yuffie frowned at that.

" right. why don't You and Kairi take a nap? " Tifa said as she fixed Yuffie some food.

"Not sleepy." Yuffie replied with a shrug. "Starving though."
