BB chuckled a bit as he rubbed his shoulder. It was clear that he was happy to get that kind of reaction. Newt nodded and smiled as they walked out to the briefing area. Arella looked at Raven. "Don't worry, things are gonna be just fine." Robin looked at everyone. "If we succeed in convincing the Engineers to ally themselves with us, then we should have no problem beating Wey-Yu."

Raven sighed and then nodded, "Sure hope so... hate to die in this universe..." She added dryly, smirking a little behind her hood. "Are... we going with them?" She whispered.

"I'm guessing teaming up with them to defeat the Engineers is out of the question?" Terra asked. She figured they might as well team up with one and then eventually turn on the other. In her mind, the Engineers were probably the greater threat from the way everyone was talking about them. Even Cyborg looked a little nervous about all this.

"After what we pulled off against them, no chance." Ripley shook her head, "I don't know if we'll be able to even communicate with the Engineers anyway. Assuming they'd even listen to us in the first place." She sighed, before turning to Newt. In a voice only the two of them could hear, she whispered, "Do you want mommy to stay here with you?"

Blackfire glanced at Starfire at the mention of communication problems, giving her the final say if they'd go or stay.

Newt looked at Ripley. "What do you wanna do most of all? It's up to you." Starfire looked at Blackfire. "I can still give them the same ability and stay here if that's what you want. Or do you think it's better if we accompany them?" Arella sighed. "Raven, what are you gonna do?" Robin sighed. "Well, we better do what we can to make sure we know all the angles. Maybe the Engineers aren't inherently hostile. They did apparently create us, after all."

Ripley sighed, "Honestly baby, I feel we'd probably just get in their way... They all seem to mesh nicely with one another, and you're still too young to be involved in these sort of things." She smiled and hugged her.

Blackfire thought for a moment, "Well... I don't really know how much they can get done without us to be honest, sister dear." She smirked a little, "Besides, I'm interested to see how they react. It might help to have some non-humans there as well." She shrugged, "Anyways, I'll follow your lead Starry.... Maybe you can wow them with your baby act too?" She winked at Terra, who blushed back over at them.

Raven sighed and spoke up, "I think we need to go with them this time, as a worst case... we might need to get back to our own time. I don't know how long we can stay in other timelines like this..." She blinked, "Now that I mention it... I don't really know how we would get back..."

(Have you yet seen any of Alien 3 and/or Alien: Resurrection? And if so, do you understand why I'm using this RP to sort of replace them?)

Newt nodded and hugged Ripley. "I guess we should say goodbye to them. They'll probably end up going home after this." Starfire nodded. "Then it is settled. We shall go with them." Arella nodded and hugged Raven. Hicks looked at everyone. "Before we go down, I want us all to take a moment to remember who we're doing this for." He put another disc in in, and the screen was filled with faces. Ripley's crew on the Nostromo. Amanda. The colonists of Hadley's Hope. Hicks' squadron members from the Sulaco. The Marines of the Sephora. Even images of the crew of the Prometheus.

(Yeah, been a while since I've seen Alien 3 though... I know what you mean though)

Ripley nodded and picked Newt up, "They might come back baby, but we'll wish them luck anyways." She nuzzled her nose with Newt's as she walked them over to hug some of the Titans.

Blackfire nodded and put an arm around Starfire, "Just remember our rules, okay?" She whispered as she hugged Starfire closer to her for a few moments. The rest of them remained silent as the images were displayed, the Titans remained somber as Ripley covered her mouth for a few seconds before putting her hand back around Newt to hold her steady.

(Basically, those films were made due to executive meddling, and for some reason, feeling it was necessary to strip things back to the "monster in the closet" element of the first movie, and not wanting to recreate the mood of Aliens, as if that was a bad thing. Also, they insisted on Ripley being the center for everything, and the unnecessary and undignified killing off of Newt and Hicks was a big fuck you to the audience)

Newt stood there and was perfectly silent as they saw the photos. After a while, they then prepared to had out. Newt then hugged everyone. "Be safe. When you get back home, things will not be like this here anymore, will they?"

(Gotcha, I can see that. I thought Hicks was in Colonial Marines, the video game that came out recently?)

Raven looked at her mother for a moment, "We... don't know kiddo. It might be that a new timeline would form, or just that this one was meant to have us come in like we did, or it will reset somehow." Raven stammered on, "I... don't really know." No one else offered up and explanations, and Raven hugged the girl again, "Thanks... for playing Newt. I'll miss you." She said quietly.

(Yes, but the explanation for him surviving made no logical sense, same with him not being able to thaw out Ripley and Newt before they were jettisoned out to land on Fury 161. What can you expect with a game having you explore Hadley's Hope, which has somehow survived the atmosphere processor explosion? The game attempted to fix the lore, but the fix did not really fix anything, it just made it worse. It had been touted as a "true sequel" to Aliens (implying getting rid of Alien 3 and Resurrection), but then showed to be the sequel to Alien 3 after all.)

Newt smiled and hugged Raven back. "Everything is gonna work out fine. You're gonna win." She then hugged everyone else. Starfire especially enjoyed it.

(Oh woooow, I did not realize that. Definitely understand this more now.)

Blackfire smirked as Newt hugged her sister, "Well Starry, I think it's time we help everyone else figure this out. Newt... thank you for playing with my sister." She complimented the little girl, before putting an arm around Starfire and hugging her.

(Yes. I think that the series can be given the ending it deserves. And maybe someone can take this idea on a Kickstarter to make a game or CGI film to bring this idea (minus the Titans and diapering) to life. After all, the Rocky series got a strong ending with the sixth film, Superman Returns was partly done to erase III and IV, and so on. Prometheus and the 2 sequels Ridley Scott has confirmed can only fix so much)

With that, everyone boarded the dropship. Lieutenant Reid piloted them down to the surface of the planet. Starfire and Robin looked out the windows. "I wonder what kind of food they eat," BB said in a half-joking manner.

(Yeah, you never know. Hard to make new movies to try and fix canon)

Cyborg looked over at Robin for a moment, "Oh, I read something about green people. Something about the green things changing into all sorts of strange things." He said in the best serious voice he had.

Raven rolled her eyes and hugged her mother a little, "So um... can we talk about how we're going back? And... What we're going to do when we're back?" She asked softly, a little worried about her mother maybe wanting to leave or needing to stop the babying.

Arella smiled. "I don't know how we'll get back. Maybe a portal like the one that brought us here will open, or the Engineers have the capability. But I want you to know something: I'm not leaving Earth. I've decided to live with you all from now on."

Raven smiled behind her his and have her mother a quick peck on the cheek, "I love you mom." She said just loud enough for her to hear. Then she started thinking about the portal again, "Do.. we have that book? Will we need it" she asked hesitantly.

Arella dug into her robes. "The book is right here with me. It doesn't say anything about how to return other than we will eventually return home." She put the book back inside and hugged Raven tight. Soon the dropship landed on the planet's surface.

"Okay mommy, we'll just need to have a little faith." She said before leaning back in her seat. Cyborg was the most excited out of the group, while Terra was glad to merely be back on the ground. They remained in their seats until Robin gave them a method of action, though they began unlocking their harness to stand up and stretch around.

Lieutenant Reid checked the atmosphere readings. "It appears to be breathable, so no one needs to put on suits." Robin got off the dropship first when the door open, and then motioned for the others to step off as well.

Cyborg followed right behind him and began trying to scan the planet, not sure what to set his spectrum for so began cycling through several settings. Terra bent down and tried getting a feel of what the ground was like, while Raven appeared to be the only one who searched the landscape and tried taking in what the planet looked like. "It's so..." She said quietly, looking around.

Starfire looked around. "I've never seen anything like this before." Arella sighed. "I think I actually found a magic book that explained this in a legend. I forget which one." Hicks got his motion tracker out to look for any signs of the Engineers.

"That would have been interesting..." Raven muttered and began walking along with everyone else. She didn't know what to expect, so she remained on her guard a little bit more.

Cyborg sighed, "I'm not picking up much of anything, even long range sensors aren't telling me anything. It's like they're jamming us, or the planet is just throwing off too much interference to get a good reading." Close range scanners were working, they weren't as susceptible to minor fluctuations. Still, he hadn't picked up anything yet, as he turned from side to side.

Terra began floating a few rocks in the air next to her as a way I'd calming her nerves and fire a bit of a warm up as well.

After about moving 100 yards, there suddenly was a beeping on the motion tracker. "I think they're gonna be right around the base of that mountain," Hicks said. With a deep breath, everyone steeled themselves as they approached what looked like a campsite.

Raven gulped and took a deep breath to calm herself, everything would be fine... She was with her friends and her mother after all. Cyborg simply nodded and made one final check on his systems, he was running with almost 100% power right now. Blackfire nodded at Starfire before starting to move towards the front of the group.

Starfire headed in front with Blackfire. Soon there they were: the Engineers, alive and well, more or less. They stared wordlessly at the group, and more so when Starfire and Blackfire went up to them and kissed them in order to pick up their language.

Terra blinked at the two of them, as she didn't know about their innate ability, while Raven giggled inwardly as she explained the situation to Terra. Terra blushed a bit before remaining silent, trying to listen to what Blackfire and Starfire were doing.

Blackfire licked her lips, "I've had worse," she said absent mindedly to her sister before trying out the new dialect to introduce Starfire and herself. She received a few... well, she assumed shocked expressions, from speaking so easily. Regardless, she had begun the dialogue between them, though she looked to Starfire to continue. Some appeared to be pointing some weapons at them, hopefully she could work her cutesy ways...

"Why have you come?" One of them asked the two Tammeranians. Blackfire looked at Starfire and took a step backwards to indicate her taking the lead.

Starfire stepped forward and looked up. "We have come to inform you of something important. An army under the control of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation is coming this way to invade this planet, and subjugate you. They wish to make you their personal world-creating slaves. And they will use the creatures known as xenomorphs to do so."

Many of the Engineers had started snickering when Starfire began talking, Blackfire heard murmured about humans don't pose any threat. That all fell silent when she mentioned the xenos. One of the Engineers spoke up, "Impossible! Humans have never been able to control them, we used them as hosts for the creatures. They're too primitive to-"

"Silence!" The original hissed, "They obviously aren't as primitive as they once were if they managed to come here. They don't need to control them either, just set them loose and we'd have a crisis. We can't afford to lose many of our kind now." It sighed, "Why have you told us this? How do we know this isn't a trick?" The rifles were trained on them again, more at Starfire and Blackfire, "We don't like humans, and even with this information, we can't just let this go... unanswered."

Starfire breathed deeply. "Because, we have seen the company's plans. We've gone through their archives. They were doing experiments in one of your derelict ships, landed on a planet called LV-426. Many people have died." She grabbed some of the report data, which had been printed out so she could read it out loud and translate, and the message Elizabeth Shaw had left in the derelict as well.

(Not trying to be a jerk with the asking for them to explain, just don't want it to be too easy... these things are supposed to be enemies of humans.)

"Star..." Cyborg said carefully as he identified several weapon signatures aimed at them, he was starting to get a little antsy. The Engineers had them surrounded by this point, there wouldn't be much of a point in trying to fight them.

The Engineers didn't know what that planet was, but picked up the more important information, "It is of no concern of ours if humans die." It shook off the comment, "If that is all the information you have for us..." It paused as one of the others took the data from Starfire and began to read it over as well. The leader garbled something that Blackfire couldn't quite understand, as it didn't translate into anything in English The tone and body language made it clear. The leader turned to converse with another who had stepped up to speak with it, before speaking to them again, "And why have you told us this information? Is this merely a smug declaration of war and admission of tampering with our equipment? Or are you hoping to 'switch sides?'" Several chuckled at that. Blackfire could guess what the Engineers did to traitors, no matter if they defected or tried to join them.

Starfire sighed. She knew it wasn't going to be easy to convince them to fight off the company. "I don't know what to tell you other than this. If there were some magic words that could convince you to fight the company with us, if only for this one time, I'd speak them. But we need you to at least seriously consider it. If there's anything we can do to convince you, no matter how humiliating and degrading, we'll do it."

Several of the Engineers in the background began to talk amongst themselves, much of which Blackfire couldn't hear. The bits she did, words like slave, useless, and sex gave Blackfire a good idea of what the Engineers had thought of humans in the past. And what they used them for... Blackfire herself wasn't opposed to showing a little skin or a favor occasionally, she figured why not use all her skills and abilities to get what she wanted? She did, however, oppose her sister doing such things.

Fortunately, the leader did not care about such things, it only wanted to ensure sincerity of information... and it knew how it might best do that. "Fine... I will give you one chance to prove your worth. Both you, and that one," It pointed at Raven, "will use our machine and I will then ask you something. If one of you do it, I will accept your statements. If you both do it, then we shall spare your group and agree to join you. But..." It paused, "If you both fail to do it... then your entire group will wish we had fired upon them. Do you accept this agreement? Or shall we kill you now?"

(Was thinking it was more of a worst thing the girls can think of sort of thing. Maybe they get transported somewhere in their minds and have to do something they'd hate doing. Not sure what you're hoping for here....)

Starfire knew that there had to be much more to it than what was said, but she didn't care. No matter what the task was, and how much it frightened them, it had to be done. "I'll do it," she said with as much confidence as she could muster.

Raven, who had no idea why the Engineer nodded at her, was looking around at the rest in confusion. Several of the others began to look at her as well, making her glad her fave was hidden by her hood, "Uhh... Star?" She asked, keeping her calm better than she'd hoped.

Blackfire snapped her head up, "Right..." she said, in english. "They have a little something they want you to do, or he'll kill us." She says, nonchalantly, "Well, try to anyways..." she smirked, thinking she'd at least be able to take on half of them... but she knew this would be their only chance to keep everyone safe. She turned back to the leader, "Why those two, why not me instead?" She asked, stepping forward a little to Starfire. "You don't have to do this," she whispered, grasping her hand.

"I need no reason," it starred flatly, "if you wish to try the machine as well... I will not stop you. Know it is not a pleasant experience, it changes for each being that uses it. Sometimes it well take that which you love most and turn it against you, others... it will change you." It stopped, remembering his own experiences with it. Truth be told, it wanted to give them a chance... but old protocols demanded such things. Maybe they'd be able to re write some of those later... regardless of how this would go, the message needed to be broadcast to all outposts on the planet. There would be many repurcussions about all this, the greatest of which that the Engineers might need to become long term allies with the humans if they are to survive.

Starfire was very nervous as she made her way to the machine. She sat in the massive chair and pressed a series of buttons. As it came to life, she saw her soul or mind or whatever being taken from her body in the middle of some kind of psychedelic column of light. She found herself in the middle of a forested area that belonged in a Hieronymus Bosch painting. Raven was going through much the same thing, except when she emerged out of the column of light, she was in some area that looked like a planet in mid-destruction. And standing there was an image of Trigon. "Did you think you get away from me?"

Raven's eyes widened in shock, "No...no! You're not real!" She yelled, "We defeated you, I defeated you!" She took a step back and looked around. This... this had to be fake, this isn't anything like where she was before they took her and put her in the machine. Maybe that was it? But... but how was she to defeat her father alone? 'He's not my father... none of this is real.' She thought to herself, reaching to her arm and pinching it. Her eyes widened, she felt that! Had... She been teleported somewhere? Raven reached down and felt her crotch, there still was a diaper down there. This was good.

She began to breath slowly, feeling herself begin to concentrate more. She was thankful for the diaper now, it was a focal point for her to channel everything her mother had been teaching and doing with her ever since she'd been put in them.

Trigon sneered evilly at Raven. "You truly are pathetic, daughter. You're not even worthy of being called that." He reached his hand down and it seemed to enter her chest.

(Hey, hope you're doing okay. Heard some of what happened, and I know you don't have much time. I'll try and be quick about finishing this up.)

Raven grimaced as she felt his hand come closer, she could feel the fears and anxieties and rage begin to center back into her. "No... no, no!" She cried out and began to struggle to keep everything away, "you're the one not worthy of being called a father!" She yelled at the monster, her mind focusing on the latest memories with her friends and her mother.

(OK. I don't have more than 2 weeks, to be exact)

Suddenly, Trigon staggered as a gaping hole suddenly formed in his body. "No. What...is this...feeling?!" He turned to see Raven's confident smile staring back at him.

(I think we're on the final stages of this one, unfortunately... But given your timeframe, maybe that's a good thing. :/

Raven's eyes turned black as she felt power surge through her body. She began to float, "You're feeling the antithesis of your being, Father!" She sent a surge of magic at his shoulder, "My friends," another blast, "my mother!" Another blast at his opposite shoulder, "All give me the support I need for this, you... you're nothing but a monster! And you no longer have control!" She yelled at him and began chanting as a continuous stream of magic began hitting his center mass.

Trigon soon fully disintegrated and a white, brilliant light filled Raven's vision. Eventually she was back in her body.

Raven immediately put her hand on her head as she wobbled forward and saw... her friends! She gave a bewildered smile before she slowly began walking forward to them. Her eyes were watering slightly behind her hood as she made it back to them and fell into her mother's arms and gripped her tightly.
