Cinderella noticed the sad tone to her daughter's usually happily voice and became even more worried than she already was. She set the tiara down and looked over at Mathias, giving him a look before sitting down and pulling Annalise down to sit next to her.
"What is it, sweetheart?" she asked softly.

Mathias had caught the sad tone and then the look his wife gave him, walking over to the bed and sat on the other side of Annalise. "You know you can tell your mother and I anything." He said, gently rubbing her back.

Annalise looked over at her mother a bit and then down to her lap as she was sat down on the bed. "I just..I don't think I'll be as good as a Princess as you Mommy.." She said quietly and rested her head on her shoulder. She didn't want to tell them the true reason, thinking they would laugh at her.

Cinderella shook her head. She knew that wasn't the real reason. Annalise was a terrible liar. She lifted the girl onto her lap and kissed her nose.
"You're beautiful and everyone likes you. You are also fair headed and open-minded. There is no reason for you to worry about being a good leader. But, I know that that is not what you wanted to tell us. What is bothering you so?" she asked.

Annalise squirmed a bit as she was lifted up onto her mother's lap and closed her eyes a bit as he kissed her nose. She listened to what she had and then looked over at her as her mother pointed out the fact she lied. "There's nothing else Mommy.." She said, shaking her head. When she lied her cheeks always turned a bright pink, giving her away like they did so.

Mathias shook his head a bit as he listened to her lie once again. "Annalise..Don't lie to your mother and I.." He said, giving her a soft scold.

Cinderella hugged Annalise.
"We will not judge you, Anna. You know this. There is no reason to lie." she assured.

Annalise rested her head against her mother's shoulder, closing her eyes a bit. "I don't want to grow up Mommy..I just want to be a baby again.." She said as she teared up a little.

Cinderella saddened a bit, not wanting to see Annalise cry. She pulled her even closer and rocked her.
"Shh. It's okay, darling. I know how hard it is to grow up. We don't want you to grow up either." she said truthfully before looking up at Mathias for help.

Mathias looked over at the two and gave a soft frown as he reached over and gently ran his hand over the girl's back. "Princess..You know we don't want to have you grow up..You're always going to be our baby girl.." He said quietly and gently pressed his lips to her forehead.

Annalise quietly cried against her mother's shoulder as she was rocked in her arms, holding onto her gently as she let out soft cries, sniffling in between. "Everyone of the servants are telling me that I have to perfect like you and all the things that I have to do since I'm older now..and..and I don't want to be a grown up.." She said as she hiccuped a bit.

Cinderella couldn't take any more of this. She was worried for her daughter yet outraged at the servants for putting so much pressure on her. She held Annalise to her and stood up, carrying the girl.
"It's okay, darling. Mommy's here. We're not training today." she said officially, not allowing her daughter to be put in a stressful situation so young when she obviously wasn't ready. She covered the girl's ears and turned to Mathias.
"I want the servants questioned. Anyone who has spoken to Annalise and made her feel nervous and inferior shall be punished. I'm taking her to our room."

As Cinderella lifted Annalise into her arms, she gently held onto her, giving soft sniffles as she tried to get herself to calm down while her mother told her that she wouldn't have to go through training. Not having to go through training was a relief to the young girl and a blessing to her.

Mathias listened to his wife and gave her a soft nod, kissing both of their foreheads gently. "I'll make sure to speak with them..I won't let anyone get away with this.." He said as he gave Annalise another kiss with a soft pat and exited the room, going to the throne room to call a meeting with the servants. He was furious with the thought of servants causing his daughter so much pain and was going to do everything he could to get to the bottom of it.
