"let me out of this! they're here chasing me! I can banish them before more damage is done!!" the figure exclaimed, pounding a fist on the barrier.

Raven groaned. "You are from Azarath are you not?" Raven asked him, she was surprisingly calm.

"technically, if only by blood." the figure answered, crossing his arms.

"Then why are you here?" Raven asked him, with venom in her voice.

"I'm here because my fool of a half brother thought that going back in time to mess with m.." The figure caught himself, as though he was about to say something he did not . "..I'm here because some idiot decided to mess with things. Namely things that don't easily go away without magic. Hence, the demons." He explained.

Raven glared at him. "You'll have to be more specific than that." She stated, knowing he was hiding something from her. Even without her magic this kid was an easy read.

"..there's some details I'm not at liberty to say. But I'm chasing the one that unleashed these things because he stole something important and ran here. He unleashed them to slow me down. I don't know all that he does, but unlike him, I know banishing spells. Let me out, let me get rid of them, and then I'll explain better." He told her.

Raven released her magical hold. "Then can we help?"

"if it works, you won't have to." the figure said, rising a bit higher in the air. "azarath..gaia, reliquus!" he chanted, aura flaring as the spell was fired at the demons. engulfing them, and banishing them to the point where not even a trace could be sensed of them.

Raven was astounded by the power the boy possessed.
