Toriel gulped silently, quickly pulling a lever. "Woops... Missed that one. It should be clear from here. Just hold onto me and don't let go, my child."
Zach did so, holding onto Toriel's arm as hard as he could.
She led them through the Ruins until coming across a large room. In the center of it was a black tree with all of its red leaves on the floor. Back behind it was a quaint house. "Here we are. Home sweet home... Let's get that leg looked at." Toriel walked towards the house.
Zach looked at the house and smiled slightly. "Y-Your house looks nice, Ms, Toriel." He snuggles into her arms and yawned.
Toriel sighed softly, smiling a little. "I've lived here for a long time. It has a lot of... memories." She carried Zach in to the first room. A staircase downward was the first sight and there were two doorways to the left and right. Toriel brought him into the living room to the left and set him down in the rocking chair next to the fireplace.
Zach yawned again and quickly fell asleep in Toriel's arms, the fire warming him and making him smile.
Toriel made sure to do whatever she could for his leg before she wondered about where to put him. "Well... There is that room..." She moved through to the right side of the house until she came to a door. Toriel opened it to a nursery. "I'm sure he won't mind." He was placed into the crib. As an afterthought, Toriel kissed his forehead. "Sleep well, my child."
Zach smiled at the kiss and shifted, hugging a plushie to his chest.
During the night, Toriel slipped out of the house to get some supplies. As much as she liked it, she was sure Zach wouldn't find snail pie as appetizing. Toriel just had to get some supplies to prepare for her new guest. Once she put it all away, Toriel herself laid down and slept... She was glad to have someone else in the Ruins.
Zach awoke the next morning and snuggled up to the plush, happy to find it was a goat like the monster that had saved him. Upon looking around and seeing he was in a crib he whimpered. "M-Ms. Toriel?"
