Rarity sat next to Spike and touched his shoulder, making him blush. "Well, I'm sure we will meet up with some truly fascinating beings.

"Um, I saw some things off in the distance when I was looking for wildlife," Fluttershy said as she sipped at her soup. "They looked like the buildings in Manehattan but bigger."

There was silence broken only by the low rumble of the airship's engines.

"Bigger than the buildins in Manehattan? Now that's some size" said Applejack who then went to take a spoonful of soup, only to gasp when it splashed her in the face when the engines rumbled and shook the ship a bit

"Wonder what that's all about" said Rainbow Dash as she got up and went to see if something was going on outside

Outside, the ship had hit a little bit of turbulence but there was no major problem. Indeed, the turbulence was due to the incredibly quick change in climate from relatively dry savanna to humid tropical rainforest.

And not too far off was what looked like an airport located in a clearing. Indeed, beyond that airport were numerous trees and other plants that looked positively ancient.

Spike was now out on the deck and staring at the stunningly beautiful scenery. He didn't even notice as a light rain started to fall

Dash fanned herself as they passed into the humid rainland as she looked around "Wow, this looks amazing out here" she said as she looked around at the vast landscape before them and noticed the airport they were probably going to land at "Well, that sure is a surprise" she said seeing the structure that was really only clear enough for a runway before trailing off into the forest

Blinking red lights on the landing pad showed the airship where to land. A bump was felt as the airship touched down and the crew began securing the mooring lines and lowering the boarding ramp.

Spike and Fluttershy were the first to descend. There, they were met with a blue-feathered raptor and some guards.

"Welcome to Cretaceia," it said in a clear, but slightly bird-like voice that was undeniably male. "I wish to speak to Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria."

"Well...sir," Spike said as he tried to avoid staring at the diplomat's leaf-patterned disposable diaper that appeared to be sagging slightly. "She should be out soon."

Fluttershy was watching as a large, colorful bird perched on the airship and squawked.

Rainbow saw the bird go up on top of the airship as she decided to float up and see what it was all about

Meanwhile Twilight was being escorted to the boarding ramp by a couple of equestria's guards as was custom as she came down and stopped a few feet from the raptor "Greeting sir, I am princess Twilight of Equestria, thank you for having us"

Said raptor bobbed his head. "Greetings, Your Majesty. I am Ambassador Stharn and I am pleased to welcome you and your entourage to Cretacia."

He moved aside to let his guards lead the way. "If you'll come this way, my guards shall take you to the main city."

Spike bit his tongue to keep from laughing as he noticed Ambassador Stharn's used diaper. Regardless, he followed the group of guards who led them off the tarmac and into the airport's buildings.

Inside the terminal was a strange mix of organic and technological. Twisting trees formed the supports of the structure but LED screens and lights dangled from what looked like lush vines.

Fluttershy stared at the ornate buildings. Spike however was trying to process why so many of the Cretacians were wearing diapers...some of which appeared to have been used.

AppleJack and Rainbow were really curious as they walked around the city and saw all of these people wearing diapers, of which a good portion of the ones they saw were used, and wanted to ask, but thought it would be rude and refrained from doing so as they followed along, trying to focus on something else

"THis is an amazing civilization you seem to have here mister, Stharn was it?" asked Twilight as she followed the raptor with her own guards that were sent per Celestia's request as she looked around the new architecture and species

Ambassador Stharn continued. "Thank you. As you can see, our kind lack the ability to perform magic. Instead, we have compensated by using technology, integrating it into our structures and even our bodies."

The group soon arrived at what looked like a carriage but there was nothing pulling it. One of the Cretacecian guards opened the door. The ambassador thanked the guards and entered after the Ponies. The guard then shut the door and took a seat in the front.

Spike looked around the interior of the carraige. Again, it was that mixture of natural and technological. Finally, his curiousity got the better of him and he whispered to Applejack. "Isn't it weird that everyone we've seen is wearing a diaper?"

"Into your bodies?" asked Twilight as she looked around at their place as they rode in the carriage a bit before looking back at the ambassador

APplejack looked at Spike as he had the question and shook her head "Best not to ask about it out loud, at least not inside a carriage with no where to go" she whispered
