Beds and wardrobes? A tidy bedroom just inside the dungeon?

"Weird," Helga muses. She decides to examine the beds more closely, look inside the cabinets & closets, etc.

As she wanders into the bed room, the door slams shut behind her and turns into a wall of stone. Helga isn't getting out through there. Upon closer inspection, the beds seem like they are convertible into cribs and the closet is filled with a mixture of normal cloths and babyish cloths, except the babyish cloths are in adult sizes. And to top it all off, the cabinets are filled with diapers of many different kinds in your size. There are some that look normal, some that are two are even three times as thick as the normal ones, some that look like swim diapers, some that feel very soft, some that smell like baby powder and some with glowing runes on them. You can take some if you want, or you can ignore them and go through the door.

Not merely a bedroom, but an adult-sized nursery, is apparently what Helga has wandered into. Very strange indeed.

Looking through the diapers, Helga finds some that are particularly cushy and crinkly, in a very girlish shade of pink, with little unicorns on them They have a lovely scent too... that of baby powder mingled with a girlish, rather floral scent as well.

Without even knowing why, Helga tucks a few of these pretty pink, girlish diapers into her pack before turning toward the one unlocked door.

The next room appears to be quite tall, with a small cabinet in one corner. Besides that, you see nothing. (Make a perception check.)

Still clutching sword & shield, Helga finds herself in an unusually tall room, with yet another cabinet. She wonders where the kobolds, goblins, or whoever else stalks this dungeon is hiding.

Helga doesn't see the blood hawk swooping down on her until it tries to claw her. (Attack roll 14+4=18. If it matches or beats AC, 3+2=5 piercing damage. Roll initiative.)

(Lucky feat: Helga spends 1st of 3 luck points to reroll the hawk's attack. d20 reroll is 11+4 misses Helga's AC 18.)

(Initiative roll = 14, no mods)

Helga whips up her shield and prepares for battle.

(Initiative 9+2=11, Helga goes first.)

After deflecting the hawk's dive attack, Helga counters with a swift sword stroke.

(d20: 17 +3 STR +2 proficiency = 22)

(That would be a hit. Roll damage. And for any attack you make actually, roll damage at the same time you make the attack roll. It helps save time.)
