Tails looked a little embarrassed at the question. He answered, "Uh well......no, I never really did. Since you know Eggman and that whole world was almost in danger from the Space Ark colony and his plans. So I never really thought about it."

The fox teen scratched his head nervously, "But yeah, it's sad. What were you thinking about, Amy?"

What if we could.... Give Shadow the childhood he never had?" She asked the two tailed fox. It was something she had thought about for a little while, "I mean Sonic and I could look after him, he could grow up to not be so crabby... Just a thought I guess."

Tails looked even more confused. "Um, how would you do that? He's not exactly a child. Both physically and mentally.... And I'm not sure what are the chances of him agreeing to such a thing, especially with Sonic involved?" he answered perplexed

Well I know he's not a child. And of course he wouldn't agree to it, "She sighed, "But he's already starting to go crazy. He never leaves his house, unless it's for a job, has his groceries delivered, and hardly talks to anyome." She was clearly upset by these facts as she talked.
"I feel like if we could make him a kid again.... Maybe he'll be better."

Tails noticed Amy starting to feel hurt as this conversation continued showing that she really cared about this situation. He assumed that this was why Sonic had such deep, buried feelings for the pink girl that led him to getting engaged with her now.

The yellow fox inventor wanted to help so he asked, "Soooooo... You came me to help you with this? What do you want me to do? Like make a machine that can turn Shadow into a kid again?"

Yep." She said to him, smiling, "I figured if anyone can do it, it'd be you."

He smiled at her when she got back into her peppy mood once again. Tails stated, "I'll see what I can do. It might take a few days."

The yellow teen then added, "But in the meantime. ...So how you are going to convince Shadow when I finish the device? And do we need to tell Sonic about this now?"

I'll talk to Sonic about it." She said smiling nad giving the fox a kiss on the cheek, "I'll also get some stuff for him ready at my place."

Tails nodded his head. He blushed and scratched his head bashfully when she kissed him on the cheek, "Uh, no problem, Amy... Anything for a friend!"

"So I'll just get to work on the device, then. I'll call you when I finish. " the two-tailed fox explained.
