"Oh that's quite all right, Ms. Rose," Sage replies smiling. "It's standard procedure to always have all amenities prepared regardless of the party's needs." This was true, but in this case their was a double meaning. Sage had already been aware that Sonic's younger friends would not be joining them, and as a result the "jr." or nursery car, was now a focal point of her plan. "In any case, we will be beginning the festivities tomorrow, including your "entertainment" as requested." Sage says with a wink as she references the theme that Amy had requested, though it was a far more loaded wink than Amy could have known.

At this point, Sonic and Tails are seated in the corner of the main car talking between themselves. While Knuckles rumbles and shakes his head, grabbing a pastry himself as he watches Rouge walk away.

"Oh one of these days that woman is going to push me too far...and I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about it...," He grumbles before shoving the entire baked good into his mouth.

Blaze walks aboard, her doubts and shyness vanishing as she sees all of her friends and gets into the mood for fun. She zeroes in on Amy and dashes to her.

"Amy!" She says, immediately pulling her into a hug. "Happy Birthday! Thank you so much for inviting us!"

At the sight of the cat and third hedgehog, Sage nods and taps a button on her wrist. The train shudders, the doors close and it starts to slowly move.

"Well now that everyone has arrived, I would like to formally welcome all of you to the Mirage Express," She says, raising her arms and snapping her fingers. As she does this, several attendants with the same uniform as Surge walk in. They're all smiling, but secretly these are all just automata that Surge had programmed and disguised. The entire actual staff and crew of the train are, like the woman Sage "borrowed" her uniform from, securly stashed back at the home station. "Now allow us to take your bags to your individual cabins," she snaps her fingers again and the "attendants" proceed to gather up everyone's bags and carry them out the door to the passenger car. "We will begin the festivities first thing in the morning, in the meantime I invite you all to relax and enjoy the amenities of the Mirage express." She sweeps her arms at the various tables and trays with horderves and desserts.

Surge for her part watches all this from her corner, not even pretending to help the other fake staff. She might be wearing one of those uniforms but she sure as heck wasn't about to actually carry these dorks luggage.

"oh, of course of couse, I can't wait for that" amy said, looking a bit excited, as she thought that her murder mystery game would be so fun, trying her best to contain herself to not give out this whole plan, as she gives a wink back, preparing to finally meet her friends. just as she then heard no other than blaze. excited, she went and ran to her friend, hugging her really strong "i'm so happy you came, I didn't knew if the princess would have the time for just a simple peasent" amy said, doing a bit of a bow down, just to tease her friend, but that made her wonder if the theme would be like a castle, maybe she would be a maid...or the queen.


rouge meanwhile, seeing how the many "staff" that came, thought this could be a perfect oportunity. putting on a costume that looked exactly like the staff, she started to walk around, preparing to leave so she can start getting what she really came for.



kitsunami, seeing how no one was coming, decided to try to make a bit more noise, this was enough for knuckles, being the more prepared on this, to hear it. as then it could be noticed how rouge was nowhere to be seen, meaning there could be only 1 explanation...


as surge looked around, she could see how most of that blue blur friends where talking, with some exception, as she could see how the silver blur and that bat where both nowhere to be seen, as silver was just moving his and blazes bags while rouge was going to her first target, it meant there may be a good chance of them being alone.


with everyone now in the train, one of the 'staff members' came to the mic "welcome everyone to the mirage express, we hope you all enjoy it. right now we have prepared all of the room for your stay, so please be free to explore now, if there are any problem, just check with any of the staff members and we will guide you to the place to go so we can watch us deal with the problem" it said, as then it left, leaving to a room alone as it started to make a continuous digital scan of the train for sage, surge and kitsunami to have a full map of where everyone was

Sage smiles and nods, walking away as Blaze and Amy start talking. Knuckles for his part hears the noise and grumbles, starting to think he better go after Rouge, however, Sonic soon pulls him aside, offering him a drink. Knuckles grunts, but soon smiles and gets pulled into the fun.

Sage soon mentally accesses the map of the train which marks each of the passengers. She notices that Silver is making his way back to the main car, which she then sees him re-enter with her own eyes. While she lacks eyes on Rouge, she can see that the bat is not in the passenger car, which is all that matters now.

"Surge do you read me?" Sage says, contacting Surge across a communicator in her ear.

"Yeah, I'm right here," Surge grunst, moving into the corner, though everyone seems distracted enough. "Now?"

"Yes the passenger care is clear. Move on the first target."

"You sure, what about the bat?" Surge says.

"I will handle her personally, remember it is important we follow the plan," Sage replies, moving toward the direction of the door to the row of entertainment cars.

"Okay fine," Surge grumbles, before adjusting her disguise and walking over to Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails. "Uh excuse me, sir," She addresses Tails, trying to keep her voice calm and cordial. You're Mr. Tails correct?" She asks.

"Uh yeah that's me, something wrong?" The fox asks.

"Oh nothing major, it's just one of your bags started...buzzing and glowing when our attendants were placing it in your room," Surge says, making up a story. "Could you come with me please to address this?"

"Oh jeez, I could have sworn I packed that securely...," Tails groans as he follows Surge toward the door to the passenger car.

(Wow, can't believe that worked,) Surge thinks to herself as they enter the hallway of the passenger car. (Hope you're ready Kitsunami) Surge thinks. The moment the door closes behind them, Surge springs forward, grabbing Tails' tails with one hand and clapping her other hand over his mouth.

"ok, soooooo, anything prepared now that you're back in mobius?" amy asked, wanting to make some girl and girl conversation, while she like hanging out with sonic and the group, it something felt lonely as the only girl. and rouge was nice and all, but they were just too different to do the girl stuff she wanted, so she was just happy blaze was with her "i'm sure you and silver have a lot of plans already, hmmm?" she said, thinking that she had an idea what blaze and silver had.


kitsunami heard the signal "a-alright" she said a bit weak, waiting in the room, as she prepared with her water backpack activating the special compartment that had the liquid she needed to use on tails. kitsunami then carefully put the liquid on her backpack water containments, as she needed to make sure to have it safe, if any of them ended up hit by this, they would be the ones back in diapers.


rouge just explored the actual areas, while she checked the first ones to see if she could find stuff to distract everyon, she only really found suff she knew would work on tails, as unfortunately nothing was catching her thief eyes yet

"Oh nothing major," Blaze says with a smile as she and Amy each sit down with a small plate of food each. "At least I don't. Silver however has apparently taken it upon himself to make sure I have fun. He's so sweet, if a little overbearing," Blaze chuckles.

"Well I should probably go find Rouge," Knuckles says across the car where he and Sonic are sitting, and moves to put down his glass. "Mobius knows what that woman has already gotten up to..."

"Aw come Knucks," Sonic says, putting up his feet. "We're here to have fun. Just let Rouge blow off some steam for a bit and then we can find her later. How much damage can even she do while we're on a train?"

"Don't underestimate her," Knuckles grumbles.

"Yeah, yeah," Sonic rolls his eyes, as usual finding his muscular friend far too focused on his guardian duties even when the emerald wasn't involved. "Look I tell ya what, you chill here with me for at least another few minutes and then we'll go find Rouge together hey? Need someone to chill with while Tails is taking care of whatever it is he packed." He says, before flashing to the bar and back and holding another drink out for him.

"Okay, fine," Knuckles shrugs and sits back down. "But if she does any damage in that time it's on you."

At that moment, Tails was struggling against Surge's hold, but unfortunately she was fair stronger than him.

"Keep fighting me runt and I'll change your name to Tail," Surge grunts, dropping her disguised voice. She forcefully pushes him through the door at the end of the passenger car, revealing the nursery room. "Kitsunami now!" She says after closing the door behind her.

Meanwhile, Sage is following Rouge on her tracker, opening a door to an activity car the bat is currently rummaging through.

"well, of course he is, i'm pretty sure that the hedhehog cares more about you than anything else" amy said, as she started to eat a bit of the salad she put in her plate "i'm sure he has a lot of surprises waiting for you during and after this party, just hope they don't have to do in the nursery room" she said, with a small chuckle at her 'joke'


as knuckles and sonic were talking, one of the 'workers' of the train came in front of the 2 "would any of you like some apetizers?" it asked, in reality being added a small substanance that would weaken the 2 slowly, as it was known how surge lost to sonic, so to be sure sonic wouldn't be able to fully escape the regression, a few foods that he was known to eat were spiked with this substance.


"I-Im coming" kitsunami said, as she then tried to quickly go there, accidentaly falling on tails face, as she then tried to stand up, using her updated waterbackpack with her powers to throw just enough water on tails that it wouldn't hit surge.


as tails was hit with the water, he slowly started to get younger and younger, some of the things he knew, while not completely gone, where getting a bit more difficult to remember with ease as they were before. soon tails was 'gone' as there was just a bunch of clothes. that was until kitsunami grabbed from those clothes a naked 2 year old fox with 2 tails, being obviously tails.


"soooooo...do we leave him here now?" kitsunami asked surge, as he grabbed tails from his tails, not really sure how to really take care of any kind of baby, since his only memories were just any backstory doctor starline made up for them or how to fight tails, as he had nothing about babies or what to do with them.


rouge was in the library section 'reading' some books, as she actually knew what this little trip on train was actually going to be a murder mystery after she decided to check some of the train information herself. thinking rooms like this normally had secret passages, and those passages may have some of the hidden treasures she wants either in them or in whatever place they go, she was trying to fin them.

"Uh, I thought you knew?" Surge says, revealing that she hadn't actually "read" all of Sage's plan. She'd thought they were just gonna put Tails in diapers and tie him up or something, she hadn't realized he, and for that matter everyone else, were going to actually be babies. There was no way she was about to be a freaking babysitter to any of Sonic or his friends. "Uh, tell you what, I'll go find Sage and double check...you keep an eye on him until then..." Surge says with a tight smile, clearly making movements to leave Kitsunami holding the kit.

Said kit was glancing around with a fairly vacant look, but he did soon start focusing on Kitsunami. After all, he might be a baby but he had enough instinct to tell another fox.

"Well I doubt that Silver would want anything to do with that. He might be overbearing but he's never doubted that I'm potty trained," Blaze giggles, clearly not quite understanding Amy's joke but enjoying the bonding with her friend all the same.

Knuckles and Sonic immediately scarf down the appetizers, the drug in them not strong or in a great enough volume for them to notice yet.

"Well the food's good I'll say that much," Knuckles shrugs, before glancing around. "Seriously though where's Rouge? Anytime she vanishes like this she's either in trouble or causing it."

"Come on Knucks chill for once," Sonic says, rolling his eyes at the echinda's typical relentless demeanor. "We're on a train, how much trouble could even Rouge get into or cause for that matter?"

Sonic had no idea that it was quite a lot as Sage walks into the reading room and gives Rouge a small bow, while subtly closing and locking the door. "Good evening Miss...Rouge correct? I trust you are enjoying our amenities?"

"w-wait, surge, d-" kitsunami tried to say as she saw how surge classed the door on her, leaving her with the baby fox. unsure of how to deal with babies, she saw how the baby was looking at her, as she looked a bit worried the fox boy still recognized her "umh.........hi" she said, not even sure if the baby could understand her, I mean, tails was really smart, so maybe?


"well, even if not, i'm sure there are a bunch of other stuff, I even heard there will be some games during the weekend, so maybe we could try working together if that's the case, maybe we could call rouge and get all the girls" amy said, as sherealised she hasn't seen rouge, but ignored that thought as she imagined she was probably exploring the place.


as rouge heard the voice of the 'conductor' she stop checking "oh, yes, this place is so big and have so many of them. i'll admit that i've just been really curious to see what there is around" she said, checking the latest book she grabbed, not really sure what it was about, but she could adapt to whatever the thing talk about to make it look like she was saying the truth.


as silver finally got his and blazes bags in their room, he went back to the main room, as he saw sonic and knuckles talking, decided to join them "hey, it's been a while" silver said, floating himself next to the 2, looking really happy to see them again after so long

Tails tilts his head, looking a bit confused, but this soon turns into a smile as he hears Kitsunami's voice.

"Ma-Ma!" He says, nuzzling into her chest lovingly. It seems the little fox has imprinted on her as his mother.

"Oh games what fun," Blaze smiles and claps. "Oh so Rouge is here? I thought I saw her but then I didn't. I would certainly enjoy spending more time with her though." Blaze was well aware of what kind of bat Rouge was, and her "profession", but she was also impressed by her courage and skill. As such, the princess was quite excited at a chance to further their friendship, even if Silver could be a bit uppity about Rouge being a "bad influence" on her.

"Silver, buddy," Sonic says with a smile, while also offering him their plate of snacks. "You're just in time to help me get Knuckles here to relax for once. Rouge went off on her own and he's convinced she's up to something."

"I'm just saying it's likely," Knuckles grumbles, before taking another snack.

"I'm so glad," Sage nodded, starting to approach her. "I am glad that I ran into you, Miss Rouge. You see I don't know if your friend Miss Rose told you but the festivities for this weekend are a bit of a mystery game. We were hoping you might..."

Sage is cut off by the door swinging open and Surge bursting in.

"Sage there you are," She grumbles, not noticing Rouge. "Listen we grabbed Tails like you said, but I think you either forgot to tell us or Kitsunami messed something up because the little runt actually became an even littler runt. Like full fledged baby, I thought we were just...." Surge stops as she finally notices Rouge standing in front of Sage, who's face is now an exasperated scowl.

kitsunami was a bit shocked, she wasn't specting the little brat to just call her that, at least it wasn't screaming, that would make things more difficult. not sure what a 'ma-ma' should be doing, kitsunami just tried to put tails in the playpen, maybe the toys there would distract her enough.


"oh, you know how she can be, no matter how much of a friend she is, she is still a 'business woman'" amy said, as she did warn the train staff about it, leaving a bit of a "treasure hunt" for anyone interested, so at least anything 'stolen' wouldn't be that difficult to replace, or she hoped that at least.


"rouge? I mean...she can be some trouble" silver said, not knowing that the bat girl would be joining them, as he looked a bit worried. who knows what someone like her could try to do, especially with the stuff blaze brought with her, maybe she would try to steal them thinking there are some royalty jewels or something.


rouge heard about the mystery game, as she was wondering if sage maybe wanted her to be the 'murderer' she wasn't against it, that would give her a good excuse of why she was actying suspicious. but as soon as she saw surge come in and talk about the 'littler runt' she realised what was happening, as she may not know surge directly, but what sonic talk about her and kitsunami, she could get a good idea something bad was coming. as she tries to grab one last book, one of the secret passages opens, using that as an oportunity to escape, she tries to enter it and return the book, as maybe that can give her a few extra seconds of hidding.
