I meant receiving a package pf whatever she bought in the mail. I am assuming from her message that she lives with her parents. |

That's precisely my problem, hence my request for walk in store names.

I just buy what I need at the pharmacy. Alright, it's not exactly bambinos (I've heard those are supposed to be teh shit now a days), but it gets the job done, those who work there are generally nice and anonymous about the whole affair, I can usually bring along a huge bag that conseals it well, and I get a little kick out of my everyday life. Serves me and my purposes well I guess *shrugs*

There actually are quite a number of "fetish shops"...but you're usually only going to find them in *VERY* big cities...and you're probably not going to find them in the phone book or even online. Most operate simply by "word of mouth", usually in the more liberal parts of town, and more in liberal oriented cities like SF and Seattle.
There aren't too many that cater ~just~ to AB/DL interests, most cover a whole variety of fetishes, but there are some that do just AB/DL stuff. Sometimes the online adult baby stores you see will have real world places of business as well, although I've noticed a real big decline in that, in recent years. It seems most fetish shops are moving more towards operating online, since they can reach a much wider customer base...and they don't have to pay for an actual store and such. Most of them seem to come and go fairly quickly though, here for a few years, then suddenly gone, or operating under a new name. Many of them with pretty inflated prices, primarily targeting people who are new to the interest and people who just don't know any better. As far as the "references" people are talking about, I'm ASSuming you're talking about the episode "King Baby" on CSI, which took place in Vegas I believe...which is about as far from actual adult baby reality as you can get...like *MOST* things on CSI. The stuff they used in that episode coincidentally came from here: http://www.babyapparels.com Although their prices are somewhat inflated...you could make your own crib and such for *WAY* less. And there are other suppliers who make them for cheaper. |
I built my own crib out of PVC pipe. Very easy to take apart when needed. The whole job cost me about $40 and a few hours of work.
You know, if you wouldn't be too embarrassed, you can sometimes talk to the managers of stores and they may be able to order something specific for you. Otherwise you're just going to have to be satisfied with Depend or Tena (or store brands) until you get out on your own. |
AB/DL stores are rare to find, even rarer still to find one that isn't under attack by misinformed and ignorent government officials or normal people who just don't understand.

Ran a search and came across this: http://www.bbif.org/~bbif/FAQ/asfd-res.html#B
This is sorta what I was asking about. |
If I remember right, that list is REALLY old (unless it has been updated recently). It also still has the same problem for you - the places on there mail the stuff to you.
