Suzette was taken aback, looking to her parents - or who she had assumed to be her parents - for confirmation. Katie just nodded sadly, saying, "It's true, honey. Evan and I wanted children of our own so badly, but I was told I could never have any."

Suzette didn't know what to say, just looking at the woman identifying herself as her mother, unable to speak.

"You have a brother of your own, though he is older," Verdie informed her alleged daughter, "His name is Dusan, and until a few weeks ago, he was destined to succeed me. But he very suddenly chose to abdicate, opting instead to elope with his childhood sweetheart. Nonetheless, a queen must have an heir. Which brings us to where we are now."

Suzette looked on. "What are you saying, exactly?"

Verdie smiled and tenderly placed a hand on Suzette's cheek. "Meaning I want you to come with me and claim your birthright... Princess Suzette."

Suzette looked around, feeling her heart beat rapidly. "Your things have all been packed," Katie said. "The jet is waiting at the airport. And don't worry. You'll still be seeing us plenty."

Suzette could tell she didn't really have much of a say in the matter. But her aunt and uncle had raised her not to shirk her responsibilities. Plus, despite being popular at school, she did not have very many close friends at school. "Okay. If this is how it has to be..."

Verdie nodded. "Come this way, then." They made their way to a waiting limo that would head to the airport. Inside, however, Suzette was a bit stunned to see what looked like diapers, wipes and powder scattered.

"Do I have a younger sibling, too, Your Ma- er, Mommy?" Suzette presumed.

"Yes, but these aren't just for any siblings. They're for you and me."
