Padme smiled and watched as Ahsoka was guided to her closet for something to wear.

(Did you ever actually watch the Clone Wars series? I saw the movie shortly after it came out, but I only decided to watch the show recently. About to finish the fourth season.)

Soon she was in one of Padme's spare gowns.

"It suits you quite nicely," said Motee, "As though you were an actual princess."

(I'm sure many also consider Duchess Satine from Mandalore would be a good character to use in RPs)

"Hmm, thank you for that."

(Actually, that is just what I had in mind for when we get to Anakin and Obi-Wan on Coruscant. I already planned for the former to convince the latter to follow his heart, now that the Jedi are free to love whom they please in this version of the SW universe)

"My girls always tell the truth," Padme said merrily, kissing Ahsoka's forehead.

(Naturally, I was going there, especially in terms of a family)

She beamed. "You...care for them?"

(Then we really ARE in sync. Also, did you know the Duchess got her name from a certain love interest of another Ewan McGregor character? One whom we've already RPed about?)

"Of course, I do," Padme said proudly, "They are more than my servants and bodyguards. They are like family to me."

(I expected as such, that might have been intentional)

She looked up at that.

(I'd be surprised if it wasn't.)

Padme then went to check up on her babies.

They were waking up at this moment.

"Good morning, my darlings," the queen said tenderly, kissing their foreheads.

Luke and Leia smiled as they were picked up.

Having voided themselves last night, they were currently clean. "Shall we have breakfast?" Padme asked Ahsoka.

"Sure, that would be nice to do."

Carrying her twins in her arms, Padme escorted Ahsoka to the dining hall, where the rest of her family was gathered.

Naturally, Jobal was especially ebullient to receive her daughter and grandchildren.

Padme kissed her mother's cheek, before gesturing to their guest. "Mother, I believe you remember Anakin's apprentice, Ahsoka Tano."

"Yes, it's good to see you again, young Padawan."

"Likewise, Lady Amidala," said the Togruta, dipping her head to the matriarch.

She beamed a little at that. "Just call me Jobal."

Ahsoka smiled and nodded, and then she sat down, watching Padme put Luke and Leia in their highchairs.

They all took their seats, even the handmaidens.

Soon breakfast was served, and everyone tucked in.

"So, what's going to happen today?"

"Well, it will be a couple days before Anakin arrives," said Padme, "Though I expect he will be leaving Coruscant with his mother sometime soon. Until he gets here, why don't I give you the royal treatment?"

"Well, I think that would be fine," Ahsoka said. "When he gets back, how long will he be home?"

"I hear the Council means to give him an extended furlough so he can focus on raising the twins with me," Padme said happily, "I'd expect at least a few months."

"Well, that's all well and good."

"It certainly is," said Padme, wiping Leia's face before continuing to feed her.

She giggled at that moment.

As Ahsoka ate, she could not help but marvel at how doting a mother Padme was.

She was clearly enjoying tending to them.

Before too long, breakfast was concluded, and they could get the day started in earnest.

"OK, let's go and have fun!"

Ahoska was starting to get excited to see what "fun" and "royal treatment" constituted.

They soon were off together.

They started by going to the top spa in Theed.

"Hmm, I've never really in one of these before."

"I know; Jedi are not supposed to indulge in pleasures," said Padme, "But my planet, my rules." She guided Ahsoka inside.

Ahsoka followed quite excitedly.
