Soon enough mary went up towards her hi Mitch- ko wanna play she asked

"Um......." Michiko got real quiet, biting her lip and dropping her eyes to her feet, nervously twittling her fingers, "I.......uh.......don't really know how" she quietly said, a little embarrassed to admit it.

(How should they play) what do you mean she asked

(well, that's kind of a difficult question. Michiko is in an unfamiliar environment, trying to make the best of a bad situation, but she has no point of reference and is unsure how to fit in with a group of kids who are only a fraction of her age, however she doesn't want to be completely left out, and have to spend her entire time at daycare as an outcast. I think it would be best if Mary taught her about playing and how to make friends with the other kids, maybe introducing Michiko to some of her friends)

'How do I explain this?' Michiko thought, trying her best to figure out a way to make a child understand how teenagers behave.

"Um....big people don't really play, we hang out and talk mostly, or play video games"

"That doesn't sound like much fun" Mary replied.Thinking about it for a moment, she was right, socializing wasn't much fun, in fact it could be downright boring at times, but it was what was expected at their age, so everyone just did it.

"Yeah.......I guess it's not" Michiko admitted, gleaning wisdom from this little girl before her "How do kids play?" she asked, raising her head and looking Mary in the eyes.

Hmmm how about we play tag or hide and seek or maybe i can introduce you to some of my friends (can you please help me make her friends)

Taking Michiko by the hand once more, "Come on!" she excitedly pulls her to her feet, leading her onto the playground. Mary pulls her across the yard to a group of young girls who are bouncing a rubber ball to one another, in a kind of four square game, they pause when the two approach, all eyes falling to Michiko.

"This is my new friend Michiko!" Mary announces.

"Hi"

"Hi"

"He-wo!"

Michiko looks down at the trio of girls who seem to be about Mary's age, although one looks a little younger, and Michiko suspects that she is also wearing a diaper like her.

"Um.....hi" she nervously squeaks out, shyly waving. Michiko hadn't been this nervous about meeting people since she was in fourth grade, as the trio of girls stared at her, while Michiko nervously tugged at her skirt.

Why don’t you all introduce yourselves to her she said to them

"I'm Sammy!" A little blonde haired girl with a pony tail announced.

"I'm Mio" another said, although she had short black hair and slightly tanned skin, possibly of Mediterranean descent.

"I Hay-wey!" The youngest of the group said, who incidentally had her finger up her nose.

"Haley's still kinda a baby, she's almost 3" Mary explained. Michiko now recalled her face from earlier, she was the little girl on the changing table next to Michiko when she was getting her diaper changed by the teacher.

'That makes sense now' Michiko thought, confirming that she was in fact diapered, as Michiko suspected, making her feel better that she wasn't the only one, but also feeling worse at being grouped in with a toddler.

"I not baby, I big girl!" Haley defended.

Still feeling a little out of place, Michiko squatted down to at least be at eye level with her peers, "Um....nice to meet all of you" she said.

After she said tgat gaily started to hug her as a showing of nice to meet you too so what game ideas do any of you have Mary said

Michiko was a little taken aback by the sudden show of affection, but hugged Haley back to be polite, she had an odd scent about her that Michiko couldn't place, besides the faint aroma of baby powder, but just surmised that it was what little kids smelled like.

"We were playing ball, wanna join in?" Sammy piped in.

"Uh, sure......how do I play?" Michiko asked, Haley still clinging to her.

"How do you play?" Mio confused at the question, as was Sammy.

"She's new" Mary explained, somehow putting the other's confusion to rest.

"Well......we all stand in a circle and bounce the ball to someone else" Sammy explained, holding said object.

'That's it?" Michiko was dumbfounded at such a simple game, no rules, no teams, no score, definitely not the kind of games she was used to.

"Yep!" Mary said.

"Here!" Sammy said, bouncing the ball to Michiko, who was not fully paying attention and got knocked backwards as the ball collided with her shoulder, putting her off balance. As she fell backwards, the front of her dress inadvertently flipped up, exposing her diaper to the group, who suddenly took a strange fascination with their new classmate.
