Rumi nodded, following Kayla inside. The little girl was in awe of the building, and looked around curiously, but stayed with the older woman. "I just noticed how pretty you were.." She said cheerily.

"Uh, well thanks." She said as she shut the door behind them. Showing the girl inside. "Well, here we are. It's not really that big a place but it's suitable. So uh. Is there any reason I found you in a ditch, much less why you flew into it?" She asked the girl, wanting to be up front about this.

"I don't remember.. I just remember that a human did it.." Rumi said, trying to remember. She rubbed the side of her head, giving her an apologetic look.

"Uh huh. There you go again with this, human thing. That isn't a very helpful clue. Especially given the number of humans in the world. And why do you keep saying human, why not simply another person? Look, I'll help you figure out what's going on with your life here. But I'm not exactly sure what to do with that information." She said.

"I just know it was a man with red hair. I'd know him if I saw him, but I don't remember much about him.." Rumi said, fidgeting a bit nervously.

"Huh. Well, I guess that's a bit better. But, I'm not too concerned with that. I'm more concerned with your family. Surely there's someone in your life you know about, who you can go to?" She asked, not sure if this girl did have any family, cause who would let their daughter do that to their skin and hair? Maybe it was just the new thing? I didn't know.

"It was just my twin sister and me for a while, but I dunno what happened to her." Rumi said softly, thinking about her sister. She sighed quietly, rubbing her arm absentmindedly. "Never had a mom, and my dad wasn't home too much." She added.

"Twin sister? Well, that's interesting. But that won't help me find any of your family, that is unless they all look like you do. Anyway, I'm sure your tired, come on, I'll show you to the guest bedroom." She said as she reached and grabbed your hand, still finding you cold to the touch, she pulled away. "Wow, you are still really cold, don't you want maybe a coat or something. You can't be that comfortable being that cold can you?" She asked.

"I'm not cold. I feel normal." Rumi said with a shrug. She blinked as Kayla pulled away, not knowing how her skin felt to the human touch. She yawned, not realizing how tired she was.

"Uh huh. Well, I'm sure your tired. Here, just follow me and I'll show you to your room." She said as she led her to the guest bedroom. She wondered what Was wrong with this girl, did that chill really not bother her? But how, Rumi was like, chill, like fridge chill. But, maybe it would be best to not worry for now, things were simply strange today.
