Cinderella took Annalise to the room she shared with Mathias and laid her down.
"You just relax, darling. Daddy's going to make everything okay." she promised, kissing the girl's cheek.
"Would you like for me to get any of your dolls?" she asked, wanting her daughter to be distracted.

The servants quickly gathered in the throne room. When they saw that the king was there with no queen, they all became frightened and knew this wouldn't end well.

As Annalise was laid down on the bed and her mother spoke with promising words, the girl's tears had slowly came to a halt. At the mention of her having her dolls she gently nodded. "Please Mommy.." She said quietly, lifting her hands to wipe away the tears that had stained her cheeks.

As soon as Mathias had been positive that all of the servants were present, he stood up from his throne and looked over before he cleared his throat. "As most of you know, my daughter Annalise was supposed to start her training today, but it has been postponed indefinitely. I'm calling you all here today to find out the ones that have been in contact with Annalise over the last few weeks." He said, keeping a calm look over his face until he was sure he had the ones that had hurt his daughter.

The queen nodded to her daughter before going to the cabinet where they kept some toys of Annalise's in case she was there and wanted them. She grabbed two dolls and brought them back to the bed for her daughter. She just watched Annalise play with them, reminiscent of the time when her little girl was actually little.

A few servants stepped forward. Six of them in total. Two of them were an older couple who had always taken care of the royal family and would never do anything to displease them. The other four looked around nervously and shifted their feet.

As Annalise was given her the two dolls she had loved ever since she was younger, she began to play with them quietly on the bed as she kept herself calmed down. She knew her father was taking care of some important business, but wasn't sure the extent. She let it roll off her back as she continued to play, giggling quietly after a couple minutes.

Mathias looked over the six that had stepped forward, instantly dismissing the older couple and the rest of the servants that hadn't stepped forward. Once the room had cleared, the calm look he had on his face quickly changed into one with fury. "Who has given you bunch the right to talk down to my daughter and make her feel inferior and absolutely horrid?" He asked through clenched teeth. "My daughter was crying due to the harsh statements and pressure you had put upon her. She is only 14!"

Cinderella stayed quiet as she watched Annalise play, not wanting to interrupt her. She got up after a while and called the servants to fill the bath so her and Annalise could bathe together like they used to.

The servants back up fearfully and winced when the king began to spoke. At least, all but one.
"I started working here when I was but eight years old! She is fourteen; old enough to take on the duties appointed to her. Of course she would run from her place. The place she needs to learn!" he growled out, coming face to face with Mathias.

A servant had come up as Cinderella had called for her, filling the tub with warm water and soap to make bubbles while Annalise quietly played with her dolls, sitting up on the bed with her dress bunched underneath her.

As the servant began to berate his daughter, he growled loudly. "My daughter may be considered old enough to take the spot of Princess but she does not need to be talked down to and told how horrid she would do when she was in training!" He spat out. "I do hope everything you said was worth it because you all are dismissed from duty!" He growled as he watched the small group. "And you.." He pointed to the servant who had come face to face with him. "You are granted time in the prison.." He said as he left, his hairs on his back standing at edge as he made his way to their bedroom.

After the servant left, Cinderella walked back over to the bed.
"Go to the bathroom and get undressed, Anna. Mommy will be in there in a moment to get in with you." she said.
She waited until the girl was in the bathroom to walk over to Mathias. She saw how angered he was and took hold of his hands.
"Mattie, calm down. You took care of everything and everything's okay. You're going to scare Anna if you stay like this."

Annalise smiled a bit and set the two dolls she had on the bed before she made her way into the bathroom, gently pulling off her dress and undergarments, setting them on the counter as she waited for her mother, slipping into the warm water and playing around with the bubbles that had been made.

Mathias gently took Cinderella's hands and gave them a small squeeze with a soft smile, despite the anger that had ravished his mind. He gave her a small nod and let his arms wrap around her. "You heard about everything I take it?" He said quietly as he kissed the crown of her head. "The things that one servant said about Anna.." He muttered a bit and shook his head.

Cinderella pressed her head to her husband's chest and held onto his arms, relishing his embrace.
"Yes, I've heard. I'm happy that they're all gone. Especially that man." she said quietly before looking up at Mathias.
"Anna and I are going to take a bath."

Mathias held onto his wife gently as she rested in his embrace, gently rubbing soft circles over her back. "I knew they could not stay here any longer especially with Anna..She's been very vulnerable and I can't stand the thought of her being harmed.." He said and gently kissed her forehead. "Good..Get her to relax more..I'll stop in a little later to check on her.." He said quietly.
