afterwards, he landed, his energy clearly spent.

Raven walked calmly over to him. "I'm assuming you need help with all of this?" She asked him.

"..I have the knowledge but..ugh.." He grunted, getting back to his feet. "Not the raw power to use it constantly. The one I chase..is the opposite. Or at least he was, until he stole the book." The figure sighed, rubbing his temples.

"..I said I'd explain, right? Well.." He trailed, beginning to lower his hood. "It begins a long time from now. ..not so long, but still, in the future."

As the hood lowered, his low pitch of voice went higher, indicating it was hidden by an enchantment on the mantle.

"To start, I guess the good news? The Titans stay close. Some *closer* then others. Though you obviously don't fight crime forever, renown leaves no lack of those willing to take up the fight. Some, even by relation.." He spoke, eyes going away from raven for a few seconds. "The bad news, some of them did not really like the idea of being a hero once they realized the limitations. So new heroes and new villains came about. Both sides sadly had relations to the other."

Raven listened to his story. "And you need help with finding your brother?" She asked as she tried to fill in the blanks.

"more or less. see, he stole our mother's spellbook, and came back in time here.
from how she told it, he was always hasty and after I came of age to be trained and he felt like I was favored over him for whatever reason;
he left with what little he had learned of control to..not be a villain exactly but just mess with a little bit of everyone, and get known in his own way."

he explained.

Raven nodded in understanding. "Starfire might know about the sibling relationships." She stated. "But if there is something I can do, just let me know.

"..I'll keep that in mind." alpha stated, putting up his hood.

"For now, you are considered a threat to the city. Why don't you come back to the tower with us? We can help you." She told him.

"..bit hurt at the idea that i'm a threat. but if it makes things less tense, I don't see a problem with going with you." he sighed, beginning to walk. as he did, a photo fell from his mantle. it was aged, but showed raven herself, clear as day, with beastboy.

Raven stopped cold in her tracks. "What is this?" She asked, picking up the photo
