Sora gave Malifecent a thumbs up, "I didn't they just helped me! I really like them! They are my friends, right!" said Sora turning to the shadow, "We're friends!" she added with a Sora-like grin to the shadow before turning back to Malifecent with the same grin, "I don't know? Maybe?" replied Sora turning to the heartless, "What do you think? Could I learn some more spells and magic from you guys?" asked Sora excitedly waiting for the creatures response.

Sora looked up at Malifencet with bright eyes, "Really!" squeaked Sora excitedly at the praise and the fact that she was doing 'wonderful' Sora hugged Malifecent wrapping her arms tight around her waist affectionately.

Maleficent grimaced at the hug but hid it swiftly and reassuringly patted the little girl’s back.
“Friends with the heartless fascinating” she muttered.

A large frozen heartless approached as the neoshadow nodded vigorously. “Seems there’s much more they wish to teach you child” she said in a fond foc ice petting the girl’s hair in a loving way. Or as lovingly as malifecent could replicate. Riki was much more independent and didn’t need constant praise and reassurance. Perhaps that’s why she was never able to sink her hooks into the boy.....


She frowned sending the girl off to learn blizzard.


The large icy heartless began demonstrating the blizzard spell for the girl. And the neo shadow stood by her side loyally.

Sora hadn't noticed how much trouble Maleficent was having giving affection to her at all and genuinely believed Maleficent to be a good decent person whom she loved. She never questioned why she needed to training in the first place from her dear mother at all.

Sora looked at the large frozen heartless with a smile and followed the large heartless, "I'm so excited I can't wait to learn more!"

Once again Sora trained and practice. Blizzard was harder for her to learn but after four hours, two hours work on casting and two hours of learning how to control she had gotten the basics down and could do some pretty good damage. With a grin she looked at the two heartless, "Thank you both so much!"

Sora ran up to the frozen heartless and gave it a big hug before letting go, "I need to go to mother and show her!"

Filled with energy Sora rushed off to Maleficent, "Mother!" said Sora running up to her only to find herself tired and worn out but still excited, "I've done it! It was harder then the first but I've got it down now! I can do it! I can do more! I want to learn as much as possible! Even if I have to stay up all night! Please!" said Sora with a big grin.

Malifecent grinned. Perhaps the first genuin smile she had in many years. She remembered being a young girl her own thirst for knowledge how it had led her to discovering new worlds and plunging deeper into the darkness. She affectionately hugged the girl. “You’ll learn it all then dear.” She told the girl smiling. “You’ll learn everything”

She picked the girl up “but I believe it’s nearly time for rest.” She said with a smile “food will be brought to your room do as you like before bed.” She ordered the girl turning and walking to sleek with a contact of hers.

One of the normal shadows crawled into sora’s bed. Nuzzling against her gently.

Pjs were laid out for the girl and the neo shadow brought a tray of food.


(I’m thinking of doing a time skip of about a week for her to be ready for a mission?)

Sora continued to smile up at Malifecent and hugged her even more as she felt her hug back. She couldn't recall the previous hugs being this nice before at all! Her Mother must be very happy with her! Sora was equally surprised to be picked up by Malifecent but continued to smile snuggling a little bit against her before running off to bed wondering what Malifecent was going to do for the night?

Sora held the shadow close to her cuddling it as she slept. Her food all gone.

It had been a week since she started training with Malfecent and the Heartless. Her prograss was incredible. She could master at least two elements in a day and techniques came easy to her! She could do various forms of attacks and her energy never dropped! She was growing stronger each and every day.

Sora felt good about herself. It felt as if she could take on the whole world and win! In her clothes that Malifecent had made for her she walked into the throne room, "Mother! I am ready for the challenge you have for me today!" stated Sora standing strong and proud. She was ready for whatever Malifecent wanted her to do.

Malifecent watched the girl enter the room and grinned the girl had grown quiet rapidly.... not using her now would be foolish. She sighed “Come child I have a special task for you” she said smirking “you will travel to another world and search for an artifact for me” she told the little girl “this” she snapped her fingers as a suit similar to vanitas’s formed around the girl. It lacked a helmet however. “Will protect you from harm.”

She grinned she decided to send the girl to a relatively safe location Olympus her search had found nothing of use. But perhaps the gods had hidden another black box... if nothing else it would be a fine test of her ability. “Send out your heartless so discord and find the black box.”

The heartless opened a dark corridor for her “and dear I’ll be watching” she told the girl.

Kairi grabbed Riki from his nap shaking him. “He’s out there I can feel him” she shouted in his face “we have to move now” she said firmly

Sora looked at Malifecent curiously wondering what she meant, "Really Mother! Thank you so much! I can't wait to go and explore a new world! This will be so amazing! I will do everything that I can to find you the artifact!" stated Sora with a giggle as she eyed her suit, "Thank you so much Mother for getting me a suit!" she added.

Sora looked at the dark corridor and then at Malifecent, "I'll make you proud!"

She didn't want to fail! Sora stepped into the dark corridor and out the other end into Olympus, "Woah!" said Sora taking off her helmet for a moment to see everything, "It's so huge!" her voice echo'd on the mountain as she looked up at the mountains and down at the city before putting her helmet back on, "Okay time to make Mother proud of me."

Sora summonded a few heartless, "Hey guys! So Mother told me I need to find a artifact and it looks like a book can you guys help with that? While some of you distract anyone else from what we're doing but be careful okay we don't want people to get angry at us or anything! We're just hear to find a book that's all." she added deciding to explore the town first before anything else. It was so huge and so many people! She could feel people staring at her....

"Here for the colliseum?" said Vanitas wearing his own suit, "Don't worry I'm about to go from this place kid but as a bit of advice giving that we both work for Malifecent now I recommend being careful around this guy called Herculues he doesn't like your Mommy very much at all." he added before disappering.

Sora frowned at that, "Herculues? Whose that? Why doesn't he like Mother?" mumbled Sora to herself as she decided to head forth to the cooliseum to see what it was about. Fighting? A tournament! Sora grinned. Maybe she could enter? Turning her head a little she could see someone wearing a long black coat? Curious Sora ran off after them.

Xaldin turned around and lowered his hood, "You shouldn't follow strangers."

Sora frowned, "Do you know where a black book might be?"

Xaldin looked at Sora in shock, "How do you even know about that? Doesn't matter! You better be careful and get out of here or else."

Sora folded her arms and turned to a heartless, "Well at least he seems to know something about it not really friendly though is he," she continued before turning to look at the sign up sheet for the next tournament. The prize was a choice of one items out of three - A sword, a piece of paper and a amulet.

Sora with a shrug signed up for the tournament, "Let's me get in some practice at least and it should be a good workout," she said, "wonder if I'm able to see these prizes at all?" she added looking at them again and grinning as she saw the words 'on display' in one of the buildings.

Sora rushed to the building and looked at the three items eyeing up the piece of paper, "Wow that looks so old? It even has a picture of you and some weird blade?" said Sora, "Keyblade war? What's a Keyblade? Why a war? Do you think Mother might know anything about that?" asked Sora softly to the heartless as she made her way back to the colliseum.

Riku yawned, "Chill out Kairi," he said moved up slowly and stiff, "okay," he sighed, "but this is the last time alright because I'm getting tired of this," he paused looking at Kairi, "we both saw him die and while I want to believe you I know what I saw with my own two eyes."

Lea who was nearby laughed a little, "Your eyes have betrayed you before and you should be happy that Kairi is choosing you rather then me for this but I guess I do need to have a rest and go see what Roxas is up to."

Riku glared at Lea a little, "Okay Kairi where do you want to go?"

"Kairi," called Sora's heart, "I'm at Olympus in the colliseum but I'm different......"

"Hercules....Meg......Phill...." called Sora's heart to them.

"Riku....." called Sora's heart yet no reply was heard, "Kairi I can't reach Riku but I can reach you."

“Did daycare let out early today” the goat asked as he looked down at the girl. He signed her up with the utmost reluctance. He signed the girl up and carried on working.

The heartless looked up at her confused. Before shrugging

“hey do you wanna enter with your pet as a team” he asked. “People used to do that a lot with those things” he said reluctantly but heartless used to enter the tournaments all the time before sora chased ‘me off.

He only offered because the girl looked like a kid.

In truth Phil didn’t wanna let her participate at all but the rules said she could and he reluctantly accepted this truth. The heartless had a precedent for being in the tournament so he couldn’t throw them out. .....

He knew hers wasn’t gonna approve but what did he know.

Kairi looked Riku dead in the eye “he’s at the coliseum let’s go” she couldn’t understand all of sora’s words but she knew the gist of what her heart told her.

She ran out key blade in hand with Riku by her side. “Lets go already” she told the boy being extra pushy now that she knew she’d get to see him so soon.

Hades waited for the girl in the courtyard outside the coliseum “hey there kiddo what’s a little pipsqueek like you doing entering games like these?” He asked seeing a new pawn to sink his teeth into.

He grinned charmingly or as charming as hades ever got....

Sora stared at the goat through her helmet and folded her arms across her chest, "Oh?" said Sora looking down at the heartless, "This is my friend not my pet," continued Sora, "Right?" added Sora touching the heartless on the head.

Sora could tell that something seemed off with Phil? What was wrong? Was it because he didn't like her? Sora frowned as she walked about only to turn and see Hades.

He looked kind of weird? Kind of scary looking...

"Huh? Oh I just wanted to enter for fun," said Sora, "I kinda want the page that's on display it looks really cool and it has a heartless on it! I want Mother...I mean Maleficent to see it as well!" said Sora, "But I need to try and find a artifact that looks like a book!" added Sora excitedly, "I haven't heard anything back from the heartless for a while now so maybe they've found something."

The heartless nuzzled her hand at the pat before nodding quickly.

Phil seemed even more confused at the girl’s friendly manner with the neo shadow but signed them up anyway.

“Weird kid” he said to himself turning around.

Hades was all smiles till she mentioned maleficent..... that old witch wait her kid..? Who was crazy enough to shack up with that old bitch? “Wait your malifecent’s kid?” He asked shocked looking the girl over. Looks like most of his deals are off the table. But as long as he didn’t give the girl the short end of the stick he wouldn’t have to worry about her mother. “I’m actually an old friend of your mommmy’s” he said crouching down.

He tapped his chin the girl was malifecent’s kid she’d be tough and good at magic. Herc wasn’t versed in the magic of other worlds.... seeing wonderboy beat up by a little girl that could work... “ how about it kid I give you a hand with the tournament in exchange you beat Hercules in the ring and of course I’ll give you a hand finding the book. Do we have a deal?” He asked offering his hand.

Hades smirked.

Kairi and Riku finally arrived at the coliseum. “We have to start looking maybe herc’s seen him or Phil”

They went to the old goat first. “Haven’t seen hide not hair of the guy how’s he been” He asked the two of them with a large grin. “Tell him I said hi when you see him. Herc should be eating lunch with meg they’re down the street can’t miss the place” he waved

Hades disappeared after they talked seeing Riku and kairi approach. .

Kairi felt a tug in her heart as she looked at the little girl staring at the prizes. She would’ve thought she was an ordinary curious child but she wore a dark suit and seemed familiar how very odd.

She knew Riku would tease her for getting distacted but she needed to say hi to the girl. And watch her in the tournament...
