For now, she decided to at least feel some soothing comfort from her mother-in-law.

She smiled and held out her hands to her. "Come here, darling," she said sweetly.

Elizabeth proceeded to nuzzle with her.

Caroline Frankenstein held her close, kissing her temple as they snuggled.

"I don't know what I'm going to do," she admitted. "The children are all still so fragile. Right now, they're regressing in various ways all on their own."

"Evidently, we will need more than just conventional means of repairing this mess," said Caroline, "Maybe we should consult people who've experience with restoration on a large scale."

"I think you may be right," Elizabeth said.

"The Jedi come to mind first and foremost," said Caroline, "They rebuilt an entire galaxy after it was immersed in war for three whole years."

"True," Elizabeth said, suddenly yawning, showing how tired she actually was despite her denial. "Maybe someone more in our situation, though," she said before suddenly snoring.

"We'll definitely need all the help we can get," Caroline said, as she moved to tuck her daughter-in-law into bed.
